There is, in the KB. Been there quite a while.

On the consoles they don't ask for the stock £8.99 a month to play one game, you're paying a smaller fee to use their "online services" for all your games.

The annual subs to these services also cost around the same as a game costs, good value as you buy it and forget for a year without it being to heavy on your wallet.

    Really?

I wouldn't pay $20 for something that isn't out and don't know if/how it's gonna work. If the offer ran until say, 30 days *after* it was released, they'd have a chance.

Not to go too far off-topic, but relevant...when is the Console Beta? I figure the game will need to be submitted to MS/Sony at minimum 30 days before launch, so that would mean the beta should be starting very soon. I have both consoles and I have to decide in 30 days which one to get because of the transfer...I would love to beta test each one to see which one would be better.

You would spend 300 pounds on a console for this game but not 6 quid a month for the psn/online play. Is it just me who doesnt think that makes sense ?

Several questions. First off I had an Xbox a good while back and it got trashed, never mind why.

I want to get a PS4, a friend has one that I tried a while and liked it.

What is the fee for using the PS4 for playing ESO. I saw something about $50 a year for internet play is that correct.

Next I don't have the PS4 yet. Do I need to have it purchased when the console version launches or can I transfer it at a later date just in case. I can do the $20 now.

Also I have two accounts, the Collectors Edition and an Imperial edition I bought around January 1st. I hope I get the option to transfer the one I want, the Collectors Edition obviously.

    Thanks

As long as you have an account for PSN or XBL and qualify for the $20 purchase codes can work on your PSN or xbl account.
Getting a console...do this whenever it makes sense
Cost to play online. PSN and XBl gold are $60/year to play any and all games so this isn't an elder scrolls online requirement but a requirement for each console respectively to play any online game. One $60 purchase or you can set up a monthly deal which is usually $6-$10/month

    Linked Accounts

To play Elder Scrolls Online on your PlayStation®4 or Xbox One, you need to link your Sony Entertainment Network or Xbox Live account. You can link both a Sony Entertainment Network and Xbox Live account, but no information (characters, progress, etc.) will be shared between them--the accounts are entirely separate. This feature is currently disabled until we launch The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.

My new questions is, as it comes with a code for the digital copy to console of choice, will it be like all other games for X1 and anyone in household can make a new game? We have 5 gamers all with our own gamertags and I know 3 of them will want to play once it is on X1......

Yes there is a code according to the info when I went to make the purchase today. It comes a lot later
Go to the "store" on this website while you're logged in. IF your account on PC was active and purchased this game by June 30, 2014 then it'll allow you to buy the $20 for either or both consoles

All these crowns and nothing to buy before transfer period comes up. Need more choices or else i'm just going to have to purchase like 150 repair kits.

Also, anybody know if there's anything stopping us from just paying for the copy and giving the copied account to a friend (let them register it under their own xbox/psn name?)
End the tedious inventory management game.

I think a lot of ppl feel this way. I was going to use pre-paid cards for the mount ANd then I realized I couldn't keep the crowns on console so maybe I'll get a mount or something like repair kits too

Can't say who is and who isn't moving over. There are some that are showing interest, and if it happens, we will probably create another guild on the console server. Can't say where they will end up, though, Xbox1 or PS4.

That's a Maybe depending on expectations.

The game on both ends is account locked so the PC character copy would seemingly only copy one PC account to one console profile (see the account linking section under your account for this game)

While the game itself may be shared just like any game sharing on a home console the account with those characters will only move to one console account. So yes and no based on my reading but I'm not staff. The email and the store were pretty clear to me tho.

Check the support link and read for your own interpretation as well as the store

If ppl are sharing one PC account and expect to copy their PC account to multiple different console profiles I think you're going to be unhappy BUt at least it's $20 to start new vs $60

Yep. This is probably deal breaker for me. I would buy PS4 just for this game, but I don't like to pay $50-60/year.

So you will spend 450$ to play the game, but not 50$ a year for it ? a 50 $ which includes free games, discounts on other game and all fun stuff that a lot of people already pay for ANYWAY...

Also the PS+ or Xbox Gold membership often gets reduced prices as low as 25-30$ during sales at Walmart/Costco/Etc.

    Purchased the Xbox One Transfer.

Is this just the transfer or a copy of the game and the transfer?
It is not all that clear.
Some parts say it is a pre-order copy of game plus transfer and then some says just account transfer.

    Really looking forward to this.
Was not going to do it as I thought it was transfer only but being able to play on both is well worth it.

It's a digital copy of the game and the transfer. From the e-mail:

With the polish of the PC client, I am really afraid about the issues that might pop up in the consoles version.

It's a fantastic deal, though; my daughter and I both got Imperial Editions for PS4 for $20.00 (we have Imperial Editions for PC). Apparently you get a console copy of exactly what you have on PC, which makes sense considering we can roll Imperials, and any race in any faction, and have the white horse on every character, etc. Zenimax really had little choice but to do it this way once you think about it.

So character name-wise, will each of our characters copy over with the name it already has on the PC version (I have the name Siren on the megaserver, etc.), or will every character on our accounts show only with our Playstation Network account name (mine is Xurelle) no matter which of our characters we're on with?
