You also need xbox gold live or Sony Plus. This is some extra cash per month. Is there a version without this requirement? I would buy PS4 just for this game, but I will not pay monthly sub for Sony Plus... This is the main deterrent now for me...

You would spend 300 pounds on a console for this game but not 6 quid a month for the psn/online play. Is it just me who doesnt think that makes sense ?

I want to get a PS4, a friend has one that I tried a while and liked it.
What is the fee for using the PS4 for playing ESO. I saw something about $50 a year for internet play is that correct.
Next I don't have the PS4 yet. Do I need to have it purchased when the console version launches or can I transfer it at a later date just in case. I can do the $20 now.
Also I have two accounts, the Collectors Edition and an Imperial edition I bought around January 1st. I hope I get the option to transfer the one I want, the Collectors Edition obviously.
Thanks
So, basically, we keep our characters on PC, but get a copy of them on console? We don't lose our PC characters in the transfer process? If so, I'm sold.
Also: maybe there should be a separate FAQ stickied that has all these answers?

Linked Accounts
To play Elder Scrolls Online on your PlayStation®4 or Xbox One, you need to link your Sony Entertainment Network or Xbox Live account. You can link both a Sony Entertainment Network and Xbox Live account, but no information (characters, progress, etc.) will be shared between them--the accounts are entirely separate. This feature is currently disabled until we launch The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.
My new questions is, as it comes with a code for the digital copy to console of choice, will it be like all other games for X1 and anyone in household can make a new game? We have 5 gamers all with our own gamertags and I know 3 of them will want to play once it is on X1......
1. do i keep crowns on both
2. eso plus on both?
3. can i get the code in the 30 day period and redeem it out of the 30 day period
4. this was orrganily suposed to come with a month sub for the game now its buy 2 play so is that one month of eso plus
5. anyone know any cheap ps4 places?
these are my questions please answer them with a quote of me

Also, anybody know if there's anything stopping us from just paying for the copy and giving the copied account to a friend (let them register it under their own xbox/psn name?)

Yes there is a code according to the info when I went to make the purchase today. It comes a lot later
Go to the "store" on this website while you're logged in. IF your account on PC was active and purchased this game by June 30, 2014 then it'll allow you to buy the $20 for either or both consoles

I did get the email saying I qualify, I just wanna make sure the code to download the digital game isn't going to be tied to only my gamertag as we as a family of 5 have each our own gamertag and 3 of them want to play on the X1 when it comes out..so want to be sure it will be like any other game where I can download it and then anyone who plays on the X1 can start a new game
Yep. This is probably deal breaker for me. I would buy PS4 just for this game, but I don't like to pay $50-60/year.

Is this just the transfer or a copy of the game and the transfer?
It is not all that clear.
Some parts say it is a pre-order copy of game plus transfer and then some says just account transfer.
Really looking forward to this.
Was not going to do it as I thought it was transfer only but being able to play on both is well worth it.
This special offer to pre-purchase a digital copy of an Xbox One and/or PlayStation 4 version of the game, will only be available on the store for 30 (thirty) days.
Am I the only one worried about the fact that the window to purchase this transfer ends a full month before the game releases on consoles?
Like in I have to commit my cash for a version I know nothing about?
With the polish of the PC client, I am really afraid about the issues that might pop up in the consoles version.
