I can show you pics video whatever you want if you want names to start with.
You ban people for using an exploit that gives them double the equipment. So Why not these guilds and people who purposely exploit broken mechanics like this?
Every time there is an exploit it is the SAME groups abusing and destorying the fun of the game. Why dont we see bans and action against anyone?
It is game breaking. EP basically won last campaign by lagging through every battle. And it was the SAME people the whole time! And since the crew in question is both AD and EP (which i think something should REALLY be done about being able to have a character on same server in multiple factions).
Ep had backup from ad ANY time the battle got tough they called the ad friends to help. (I know its cutthroat but when two of the three sides are the same people it is no longer cutthroat its now just 2v1).
Stop the ability to have different characters in the same campaign.
I disagree, they should fix the issue. The simple fact is that any combat causes crazy amounts of lag in Cyrodill. The fact that groups are exploiting this, are the symptom of the problem not the cause.

Not all combat causes lag!!! There are plenty of fights with large numbers on both sides and no lag at all. Like i said man i have the video proof that large battles do not lag. Only when this "lag ball" "turtle" strategy is used does it lag!
And to all the people saying that EP does not do this, Read the forums here and you will find EP admitting that their faction does it on purpose because thing get tough for them.

Having got Lag in what you term Normal Combat, I still disagree.
It may be a fact that certain abilities have the potential to cause more lag than others. But the simple fact is Cyrodill Lags even in low populated Campaigns without the Turtle Strategy (which is entirely necessary to actually take a flag!).
The fact that people exploit this is a symptom of the actual issue not the cause.
There are a great many issues with Cyrodill, which from the lack of ongoing activity from ZOS in this thread and on their ESO Live, they are trying to avoid.
The fact that the Population Cap is about 400/faction and there is only one full campaign, points to a PVP population of only a few thousand. So as such is low priority.

Sometimes I'll be in hide and i'll just randomly pop out... no enemy, animals, detect pots, nothing... I'll just pop out of stealth.
It's bad enough that stealth and cloak has been borked from day one in this game... I honestly don't ever see them being able to fix it.

Dumb question, but: Were you moving and ran out of stamina?

It's an important ongoing effort for us, and it's one for which your feedback is critical. We've read your recent feedback about game performance in Cyrodiil and understand how frustrating it is to have your abilities or character become unresponsive in the midst of a huge, important battle. We want you to know we do read your feedback, and we are dedicated to continuing our efforts to improve your overall experience.
There are a few key things we need everyone to know. When a large number of players clumps together and spams PFX-heavy abilities, it will cause slow-down. We've put in a number of fixes and tools to help reduce this, but the reality is there will always be some slow-down when this happens.
We've been tracking crashes in Cyrodiil, and the number one client crash we see come through our crash reporting tool is one that occurs due to broken or out-of-date add-ons. If you are frequently crashing in Cyrodiil, we strongly urge you to try playing with and without your add-ons to see if you experience any noticeable difference in crash frequency and game performance.
All that said, let's take a look at where we're at with efforts to improve game performance.
What have we done so far? What more are we doing?
- We've fixed quite a few issues where effects were failing to clean up as they should. This has improved performance related to ability effects, but it is an ongoing effort.
- We put in a PFX slider to help with game performance in heavy combat situations where there is a high amount of PFX simultaneously firing off. Dropping this down to the minimum setting can help with lag in crowded areas. (Reducing graphics settings in general can provide better performance when in Cyrodiil, too.)
- The removal of Forward Camps has cut down on some of the player-character pile-up, which has helped game performance in Cyrodiil.
If you are encountering severe lag, crashes, or unresponsive abilities in Cyrodiil, there are a few bits of info we'd like to get from you to help us further improve your experience.
- Evaluating ability particle effects and fixing any issues we find with effects failing to clean up, or being too taxing, is an ongoing effort.
- We have a fix going in today (1.5.5) that will fix a region crash issue in Cyrodiil which was related to a scenario where someone could teleport to Wayshrines while still targeted for an attack (this could not be done on purpose—it just happened sometimes.)
- We have a fix for the issue where the game client gradually slows down over time when weapon swapping. We’re aiming to get this fix into the next incremental patch (1.5.6.)
- Our QA team hops onto the live servers to observe, take metrics, and report back on anything unusual they see.
We hope that helps explain our past, current, and future efforts to improve game performance, particularly in Cyrodiil. Thanks again for your ongoing feedback and support.
- Do you have your PFX slider turned all the way down, to minimize particle effects load?
- Do you have your graphics turned down? If so, what are they turned down to?
- Are you using any add-ons? If so, which ones? (We are not trying to place blame on add-ons; rather, knowing which ones people are using may help us pinpoint potential issues.)

The only thing i was u would do is think if we put this in how will the player base use it to gain an unfair advantage, like in your last update the power the siege weapons put out for now pvp is no longer player against player but after a jaunt in pvp last night i found it to be siege weapon against siege weapon. you see we where at sej we took the wall down and rushed in and half of our full group, the ones who went in first died on the spot from the damage the siege weapons put out. I truely believe if you want player vs player then the siege weapons should either only be used against walls etc or that the damage when used against a player is lower right down. Because you see most of our guild are casual pvpers and said they where thinking of not going back. If this happens with all casual players you will find the pvp zone dead, but that is just my thought but i hope you listen to what i say

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom And now after 6 months are you going to give us some feedback from your Engineers and Programmers who have been working on all the issues raised?
As currently I don't think any of the PVP Player base actually believe there are any Engineers or Programmers working on Cyrodill!!!

Bro. Chill. This has already been said in almost every way possible in every part of the forums. Instead of yelling at these people, would it hurt for some encouragement? I seriously doubt the entire PvP section of the developers are just playing ping pong in their office day-in and day-out. Give them a break.
