Shield, yes please.

Weapons, I'd rather they finish the skill animations to reflect what I am wielding.
Whenever I Ambush, my mace & axe suddenly become 2 swords. Disconcerting.

All colors should be available for all items, I know people were freaked out over the possibility that players would run around in pink armor but it didn't happen. Most of the population will choose reasonable dyes for their gear and I would ike to have nice shiny swords.

If weapons and shields were only a muted grey or earth-tone it would be one thing, but they ALREADY have color. Shields have big blotches of green and blue. barbaric Weapons look almost pink to me already.

So, instead of worrying about the people who will take an already drap pink sword and make it bright pink....think of all of us that will take that drap pink sword and correctly dye it grey, black, white, etc.

I'm really pissed with ZOS to simply say always the same thing: "We are looking on to it". Everybody is asking to the ability to Dye "Weapons". For god sake, they should make it already, it has been 3 Updates and 5 months since Dye Stations. They are really stubborn or simply lazy and don't care about "minor" opinion. Paul don't what Pink Swords? Tell me about Galatite Pink Armour then... Damn, they could listen us for a while, how hard can it be to make a system to dye everything, honestly?

Agreeing again about weapons and shields. It would be nice to change the color of my weapons and shields, no amount of "buuuut piiiiink" should stand in the way. We already have far more ridiculous aesthetic choices compared to the occasional pinkish dagger.

We could (and Should) spam Shield Dyes Thread until they eventually deal with it. Seens like is the only way that ZOS would perhaps give some attetion to this. Love the game... But ZOS make some awful mistakes sometimes, they deliver unfinished things, it's depressing.

We need to be able to dye Weapons and armour, BUT not with same colours, can't get green sword but u could get different metal colours on the weapons and yes, you should be able to get any colour u want to your shield then

Thank you for all of your excellent posts. I am still wearing full purple heavy armor including shield and sword. There is a great metallic color I would like to use on my shield and sword but I cant dye them.

I think ZoS is Ignoring us. Really... YES I REALLY NEED THIS. Weapon, Shield and Costum Dyes and more Motifs. There isn't a way to talk with the Devs? Really, this simply issue makes don't what to play the game. I'm tired of looking constatly to my Purple Sword and Golden Shield with my Withe and Red Armour... Really, make it happen for god sake Ç_Ç

Well. I think there the Dye colour should be decided by the material in the Weapon/Shield. Even in Armour... But this would make the palette much shorter and reduce the ability to dye things with White or Even Soft Green, etc. I like to give freedom to people to have Pink or Bronze Swords. But I'm all in favor in to make "Types" Categories of Dyes: Metallic, Ceramic, Wooden. Each of them with "texture" withing the color and also... They could add the ability to Dye the Armor or Weapon* with a respective Material Color (Ebony, Orichalcum, Nightwood, Ash) that are unlock as soon as you unlock the ability to use them.

Well, coloring shields is an must, to match them with armor. Swords and other weapons... how hard could it be to limit the business parts to "metal colors" to avoid the dreaded "oh, noes, my character got owned by a pink blade, however will I live with this shame?"

It's laughable that people even feel the need to ask ZOS to restrict weapons to metallic colors. We'll have male orc vampires running around in wedding dresses on a Senche with a black panther pet running around in 2 weeks but people are worried about somebody having a blue or pink dagger?

The basic answer is: if we get weapon dyes it will not be restricted because not all weapons are made of metal and the system has to be universal otherwise we probably won't get it. Add in the fact we already have blue green pink black and purple blades, the notion that anybody should be able to dictate what color somebody else wears is borderline obsessive.

Although I like the color purple, I eagerly await the day I can dye my v14 sword a normal silver blade instead of purple one. It would be nice to make my shield match my armor color scheme also.

Agree too. And if it's too hard for them to create that, I will be happy with a simple base colours change.

But in all case, I hope they will do something, I hate my pink/purple/blue weapons.

They did say that they were interested in doing this pretty much right when they released the Dye system.

....it's been quite a while since they've mentioned anything about it, though. I wonder if this is still something they'd like to do, or if it's getting the Spellcrafting treatment.
