Yeah, purple is not my favourite colour, at least with the armour we can dye it, weapons on the other hand we can't, and who wants a purple greatsword.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!

Still, the only reason I have heard repeated times against weapon color coszomization is "Oh, noes, some silly people will make themselves neon pink swords". Which could very easily be taken care of by limiting blade (and other metal bits) to metal dyes...1 -

✭✭✭✭Well ... pink can be used for immersion purposes. I had a character who, in terms of how I role-played my characters, got a mage pissed off at her. The mage's vengeance (as role played) was to turn my character's armor pink. So I "wore" pink armor for ... oh it must have been a week. And I knew that people would be thinking "oh what a dorky look" so my character was quite defensive about it.
I paid attention and when I noted other in-game character staring, I would whisper them and say that it wasn't me - my mage/sort of in-law by clan, was pissed at me. Sometimes I'd ask if they had a solution. It made for some fun immersion.Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis0 -

rynth✭✭✭✭✭Yes it would be nice to decorate your shield and weapons. They don't want pink swords easy fix don't add the color lol just add metallic colors. It would be nice to have a blade or axe that actually looks like metal. Shiny steal a cobalt blue black a metallic green etc.
Not to mention be nice if we could get more then one racial look for out armor and weapons perhaps a way for us when crafting to choose three or four styles of them same race not have the looks be determined by metal used.When asked what he would do for a Klondike bar. Agreed. There should be no restrictions to weapons, as if a pink dagger is somehow so much more ridiculous than our current options for armor.0 -
