    Not even close to a valid argument when the DEFAULT color for weapons are pink, purple, lime green, etc.

    A lot of us want to make them look like actual steel.

    Why does it matter so much to you what "other people" do when it's not affecting your gameplay? If it were a default that you had to run around with pink battle axes or whatever, I could see your point.

    Or is there one?
    TL;DR - If you got this far without reading the entire post you're either too lazy or suck at reading comprehension and probably don't belong in a public forum anyway. Just move along, you wouldn't understand.

    Exactly. (see, we can agree on a few things)

    If it's not affecting defaults- and isn't applied to everyone, then it should be available as a choice.

    im sure theyll add it to the crown store sooner or later in a seperate dye system lol.

    Oh how I detest brightly colored weaponry. Having said that; there should always be more options even if it annoys me to see the outcome of them.
    There is nothing here of interest to any nations; as a matter of fact, there is nothing here but people.

    Because the light blue sword is the point where the guy in neon pink plate riding a tiger followed by a panther finally gets "ridiculous", right?

    No weapon restrictions please, there's no reason to have the hilt or a staff be any color and restrict the blades. The dye system will never include that kind of complexity where certain dyes can't be applied to certain items within the same slot. If we get it, it will likely be as universal as possible.

    No, we have nothing to worry about, this will not happen.

    Some people complained that this would happen when the dye system was being announced. Have a look around in-game, no one has their character's armour dyed in horrible colours. Most everyone has their characters armour dyed appropriately for the game environment/world. And the same will happen for weapons and shields.

    There has been ample evidence over the years, not just in ESO but other MMOS: The fear of being overrun with 'knuckleheads' with 'lightsaber coloured' weaponry or 'hot pink' attire just does not happen. And thank goodness too! For once I was very worried about the same thing. But in reality it just does not happen. Thank Tall Papa.

    Is it me or shields and weapons do actually dye a little? I swear that it looks different when i have full stock set but when i dye my whole set to black/red colors my shield also changes its color a little to match it all (but not full color change, like those green adds on ancient elf shields/weapon style). You dont have direct control over it but it does adapt a bit i think

    I see your point but I think it is a bit of an illusion.

    We seriously need dyes on weapons and shields. If you want to put it on the crown store, I will pay for it.
