Don't feel bad. I'm a casual player and have no enlightenment so if they're haters they are equal opportunity haters.
Are you guys logging into non-VR alts at all? You might be resetting a timer or something.
Does not matter according to the Help Info: "Everyone receives the same amount of Enlightenment for a 24-hour period. Think of it as a clock; when it strikes 12:00PM, everyone has Enlightenment added."
Thus I should have double enlightenment Right Now, but nothing still. ZOS must hate hardcore players... One day they will realize we are their backbone and give them the most: our lives. (LoL)
You are right, whether one logs in/ out on non vet alts should make absolutely no difference to the enlightenment timer. But even if it bugged and it did, that still does not explain how I can gain enlightenment one minute and lose it the next simply by traveling via wayshrine.
'hardcore players......require the most 'new content' (because they exhaust existing content incredibly fast), and new content is very expensive to produce. Really, from a financial outlook the 'hardcore' MMO players are the worst customers for the developer.

If you have been playing alot since 1.6 went live, then you probably won't see much enlightenment, and when you do see it, it will likely get used up quickly.
It's designed to help people that can't play all day keep up with those that can. It's very similar to "rest XP" that you get in WoW and other games.
I'm not suggesting that it isn't bugged. I don't know if it is or isn't yet. I just want to make sure people understand how it works.

Maybe for a subscription model. Not for a B2P model. The very premise of the business model revolves around people requiring content, buying content, finishing content, and then wanting more new content. rinse, repeat, stay in business.

If that is true then they run into the old problem with this game: The complete lack of repeatable soloable content for max level characters.
There really isn't ANY content for V14 to solo outside pvp. And now with the champion system that oversight and lack of vision will hurt the game tremendously.

Really? I still don't have enlightenment, and it's been significantly more time than 24 hours. Will be 48 later today.
Then again you might want to see that some people already in the 80's to 90ish in CP because they got enlightenment early and never lost it.

I believe the cap is 3 days worth of enlightenment.
So it CAN get worse. Some people have perpetual enlightenment and rack up CP by the dozen while others of us go without, between lack of any enlightenment, prematurely losing enlightenment, and gaining CP only to have it yanked away, based on the reports in this thread.rfennell_ESO wrote: »ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »You will begin to see Enlightenment 24 hours after logging in with a Veteran Rank character, so nobody will see it for at least a few more hours.

I never had it either. Only noticed it briefly when logging my alt, but it disappeared instantly after I had to relogg.
Yet I have guild-mates being enlighten non-stop since 1.6.5 came out. They're currently racking up loads of CP from a buff that's clearly bugged. So yes, this is really bad.
There are posts from people who say logging in other characters causes loss of 'E'.Alphashado wrote: »Synapsis123 wrote: »Alphashado wrote: »

I'm aware of the cap, I assumed it was measured in CPs (actually XP) not days. For example the cap is 4 CPs worth of XP. In other words if you're at the cap (i.e. 4 CPs worth of XP) then you would exhaust your enlightenment after gaining 4 CPs, then continue at the regular pace.
I wonder is it possible that because I logged into all my alts to improve my riding skills did I lose my enlightenment, whereas my healer didn't log into their alt and was receiving the correct enlightenment XP?

Why don't you actively look into how fubar'd you made magicka sorcs while you are at it?
The fact you will have people in the 100's of cp soon and people stuck at 70 because they can't get enlightenment while others got it and it doesn't go away while they grind it out.
That will help with balance for sure.
Oh, this is even more brilliant. I got enlightenment, and was "awarded" a champ point when I hit 400k xp towards the champ point (big message popped up on screen saying congrats CP!). Tried to apply the CP, and it didn't show in the CP screen. Relogged, and no CP in sight, and now my CP xp bar only shows 122k towards the CP it said I had finished. Bah!

This happened to me last night too. I hit first 400k and got a big message telling me I got a champ point in thief (71). Didn't have time to go to champ screen but logged in this morning, I'm at 70 with about 180K towards 71..................
broken.
