For example, the way it was described here (forward to 1:31:54):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcIaOzyOUL0
One player is continously playing 24 hours straight, they will get 5-10 minutes of enlightenment every so often and immediately burn it up.
Another player takes a break for 12 hours and when they combe back, they have all the enlightenment accrued to burn up all in one go (400K XP).
It sounds like some people have experienced a different issue where they never receive any enlightenment at all, but others who see it only for a brief perioed could be simply burning it up entirely every time they receive their 10 minutes interval worth of enlightenment, no?
I submitted a ticket about not getting enlightenment for 48 hours and only earning 1.5 CPs from normal gameplay. I was sent a message and had my enlightenment turned on... it is a bug!

Funny I turned in a ticket right at the start of 1.6 and still have yet to see anything. Just posted another fingers crossed.
Well as usual new update and another major bug to contend with. So much for testing the Champion System fully to make sure it was working before releasing 1.6 live. This is something that cannot be sat on or ignored by ZOS and needs to be addressed and fixed immediately. A broken Champion system destroys the game.

2. I grinded with my main character until my Enlightenment bonus was almost used up. In the end, the tooltip said: Your character is enlightened and will earn experience towards a Mage Champion point at an accelerated rate until she reaches 39,005 XP, and I played until I had about 29k of those 39k XP (so 10k left until Enlightenment should have expired).
3. Then I logged out with my main character and logged in another VR 14 character and my progress now was 0/400,000 XP to the next level on that character. The tooltip now stated that I would stay enlightened until that character reaches about 10,000 XP of the Mage Champion point.
4. I logged in another character (VR 1). The progress for this character was also at 0/400,000 XP. But on top of that, I had now lost the remaining Enlightenment bonus for the next 10k XP that I still had on the previous character.
5. I logged back in with my main character. The progress was at 29,837/400,000 XP, but only for that character! The remaining Enlightenment bonus for about 10k more XP, however, was gone on all my characters now (I had lost it by relogging).
Is the XP progress towards the next Champion point supposed to be different for each character (29,837/400,000 XP on my main character; 0/400,000 XP on my other two VR characters)?
And is it intended that I lose the remaining Enlightenment bonus when I log in with another VR character?
You are making assumptions on numbers they gave for the "average" player. The average player could get to 85 and no more, but in reality the grinders who maximize are making several CP every hour without enlightenment which is why I know being in the 90s is very doable. Your math is spot on with the average player though. Zos specifically stated they want 100k xp an hour for your average player thus equating to the numbers you extracted, which means players will be much faster and much slower depending on a number of different things.
Did I misunderstand someone or are there a few guys that have working Enlightement?
Yep huh, this game, the absence of testing in a PTS is noticeable on the live server. Was there even 'E' in the PTS? Or was it thrown in last minute to the live patch? I am really LOSING CONFIDENCE in the team for not posting more consistently on a hot topic forum. Eve Online would have had Dev's posting every page at a minimum.
Most have working a healthy CP System that work perfectly, while about 10% suffer from extreme issues, and the 1% have never ending 'E' as long as they stay logged in and don't change zones.
Perma "E" for all!
it would be a fair speed to gain CP.
The CS does not contribute to Individuality or role specific diversity at all.
Its a lame Grind, a timesink to sell XP-Boosters..
There is no FUN in this buggy conception and it destroys PvP!
I'll have no problem to get points,
but i hate unfair, usless, Time-devouring, Community-splitting Systems like this!
Turn off CS in Cyrodiil!!
