I like the Bretons because they are kind of Frenchy and I took French in college (French-speaking girls, so qt), but, I wanted to be a cat, so here I am. I'm just a cheesy nightblade that says bizarre things in zone chat so not like y'all missed out on much lol :)

Well from what I have seen so far, the DC lands seem to be a bit empty, but on general precedent, the people that I have come across were quite nice and helpful when I talked with them
Cyrodiil was another story however, and I may or may not have received many hate tells :cold_sweat:

DC is going to have to not hold faction issues against players who roll DC to help out. I appreciate you rolled DC and enjoy seeing you on my side in the fight. I like the white and black getup too!

What was really saddening to me, however, is that he made his sorc with my sorc to play with me on DC and we've both received some pretty nasty remarks from DC players, and I play DC actively haha.

It even went so far as guilds apparently accusing me of being a spy because I'm with Germantrocity and saying it in zone.

DC players are seriously going to need to do as you said and stop holding faction issues against other players who roll to help or play on the DC side. Because actions like that not only push away the people who have rolled, but also can easily push away players who are already DC. I know for sure that I feel less passionate about DC after that accusation recently.

    EDIT:
It's white, black, and Arcane blue ;o

I didn't get this on DC at all, actually, I had people whispering me constantly on my EP main to reroll. Then all those people ran to the PTS and I lost interest.

AD though, that was rough. It's hard to get a group invite unless it's Telel or Ithilwenn running a group. People somehow know my red haired Nord character on EP side, even though I suck, and are afraid I am spying. Even the non-vet people are afraid to group with me due to my friendship with the main EP Emp crowning guild over there. So I run solo.

Side note, I had no idea the AP from soloing was so good. I setup a firepot treb or fire ballista and hit groups of players, drop a negate, then the other group moves and kills them all. I see 375 to 600 AP ticks scroll across my screen for each kill and then O tick/D tick.
Made me wonder why people even group!

Why the hell does everyone hate Shadowfen, it's my favorite zone...

I don't know why people hate shadowfen either:( its actually one of my favorite zones. I thinks its cause of the large numbers of crocodiles or something.

Don't worry, I have the same thing with Dunmer ladies

I'm a crowd favorite in DC zone chat on my alt.

In all seriousness though I thought DC had the best quest line of the three factions by far. AD had too many elves and EP had the cluster *** that is Shadowfen. DC has Rivenspire which is a truly fantastic zone and the story arc in Stormhaven is interesting.

The racial bonuses and the fact that races are tied to alliances might have something to do with it. I mean, would you like a fire-resistant guy that does 10% more damage, or someone who can sprint marginally faster?

Some folks are similarly unhappy with the Nord racial passives, so I offered this idea for improvement. Similar things could be done/suggested for Orcs.

In any case, there are already some changes to Orcs on the PTS for Update 6.

Robust is being changed from this:

Increases health regen while in combat by 5/10/15%.

    To this:

Increases Health Regeneration while in combat by 10/20/30%.

Swift is being changed from this:

Reduces sprint cost by 4/8/12% and increases sprint speed by 5/10/15%.

    To this:

Reduces Sprint Cost by 4/8/12% and increases Sprint Speed by 3/6/10%. Increases your damage with Charge attacks by 2/4/6%.

It seems like a step in the right direction, but since the attack bonus is only for Charge abilities it would be more appealing if the bonus was a little higher, maybe 3/6/10%.

DC zones are Barron during the day and don't pick up much more in the evening.

Many zones maybe, not starting zones. Every time i go back to the bank in Daggerfall city, i see players everywhere. Then again, i play later when most people are home from work/school.

Idk DC NA starting zones aren't packed like the others. Craglorn is terrible as well and it's a great zone imo.

i dare to disagree, i took the leap and started leveling a DC sorc. yer a scrub is gonna play DC. sorry you cant pull the best over =/ Anyway, their were alot of people, it was the 10-20 grid spot though, so maybe just already DC main players grinding their alts.

On the issue of hostility toward people who have recently decided to spend some time playing for DC instead of EP/AD, I have no such problems as my two VR14s are complete unknowns both within and outside of their faction :p They are only at Lieutenant (grade two) and Captain (grade one) because I don't spend all my time PvPing or trying to AP farm (nothing against those who do) but I do have fun finding and getting into good battles.

Meanwhile my DC earned Tyro from level 10-11 in two play sessions. Did more DC PvE quests up to 19, then got to level 21 in an extended session in Cyrodiil. Having fun so far with the process. I could get to VR1 quickly, but right now I'm in no rush. Might change my mind if splitting my time between Blackwater Blade and Haderus gets boring.

So I started another alt and made it to level 8 before deciding to play another faction for once. Started an EP alt and the amount of players in the starting areas was enormous compared to DC. I do not see the PvP numbers getting better anytime soon.

Leveling yes, end game they are pretty much the second top dog. But I think the main reason EP is so attractive is because of Skyrim and morrowind, not to mention dragon knight lore wise.

If you're coming across DC that are rude or obnoxious in game just throw them on ignore . DC has been torn apart as a faction so many times that some people are just damaged now . Don't let that be a deciding factor for helping balance faction pvp . Do it for the love of battle not for the expectations of warm welcomes . I'll lend anyone a hand grinding zones that needs it with my lower level alts . Forum handle is the same as In game . I don't mind taking a break to do this once in a while at all .

I can't go to Thornblade (cross-faction character lockout) but I've toured Chillrend and currently am set for Blackwater Blade and Haderus on my old and previously unleveled DC character and haven't seen anything in zone for that faction that is significantly different than what I've seen elsewhere. Just some differences in terminology, such as keeps being "tagged" instead of "flagged" or "bursted" instead of "breached". And of course any really low level (10-15) character is going to be suspected of being a spy at some point if you try to follow a group around looking for a battle or siege assault :p

(Got taken down due to naming and shaming from the trash talk I received due to a certain someone that I am replying to  )

The trashing and bashing DC referenced that exact event. Don't come into DC zone chat, bash on how DC gets pwned by EP and expect hugs and kisses, sorry. If you come to truly help DC, I canbe quite accommodating, even....arousing.

Actually there was no bashing whatsoever towards DC. I have even gone so far as to make jokes about EP in DC zone chat for fun, but I would never go to another alliance and trash talk them. Please don't say that I have done things that I have not, thank you.

Columba, I'm starting to think you can't handle any sort of playful trolling, even though it's all you do in zone chat. I've seen German play around with DC in zone chat and joke about EP as well. I've yet to see him trash talk any DC, and even if he has said anything remotely along those lines, it's being blown out of proportion, and it's definitely nothing comparable to how DC trash talks itself and its own players.

Why the hell does everyone hate Shadowfen, it's my favorite zone...

main problem i've seen on DC is that 1) if your not in a PVP guild you will never, never, never, never get a group. Tried it the other night, LFG every 5-10min for 5 hours(showed dc at 3bars/locked varied), lots of groups moving about, not one invite. Everyone always wandering why DC seems pop imbalanced, its because everyone who doesn't get groups goes off and messes around on their own. 2) people capping resource while ep/ad faction is inside tower. Everyone blaming the pugs, and it might have been, but because they can never group with experienced players, what do you expect to happen. then people just get bitter and switch factions
