Sorc Pet's should scale with Champion Points!

I may be wrong here but I have the feeling that they don't.

I think, if I put points into the Champion system, which increases my shock dmg, that also my pets should benefit from that.

Otherwise it would be quite unfair that sorcs have the only dmg abilities that don't increase in dmg with the Champion point system.

Furthermore the should also benefit from racial passives like the one from high elves.

And also things like the shadow mundus stone that increases your critical hit dmg should be included.

I think Sorc pets damage should scale with the number of forum posts of people saying they hate sorc pets!

That way they may actually be strong enough for me to consider going down the route of dull 2 button game play!

Well pet build may be still not that good but because of things like this they will never be viable

I can confirm that pets do not get any benefit from critical damage, their bonus crit damage was always 50% no matter what I tried.

They also do not get any bonus from lightning damage passive in the champion system, nor spell penetration passive.

The only thing that can increase the damage of pets is more magicka and resistance debuffs on the target and combat prayer casted on the pet.

This needs to be fixed so that if a sorcerer has a buff or a passive the pet will have it as well, otherwise the pets will keep getting worse and worse in comparison to other abilities when we get more champion points. I did not test any defensive passives but the same principle still applies.

You wanted to make pets more viable, so please make these fixes so they actually can be, giving pets only our crit chance is not enough, they need to get the benefit from all the offensive stats at least. With a pet you sacrifice 2 slots so it feels like a slap in the face to find out they are still broken.

Now it doesn't matter that much, because we don't have that many champion points, but if you have all the dmg skills and the increased crit points the pets will only get weaker in comparison with other skills.

That ability can only affect a limited amount of targets and I'd rather buff teammates than pets ...

And, yes, in the long run, CP points would have to impact pet DPS. Stuff needs to scale.

lol, but yeah it takes some doing to get them to do decent damage, and it's sure not bursty.
