Paid Beta is over now....can we please have a refund?

Without our consent, we all paid a subscription for a Beta quality game. Please refund our money for the past year. You failed to fully inform the public of your intentions and you failed to deliver on your promises.

Full refund is the very least you guys could do.

Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

Without your consent you bought a game that is a combination of a buggy RPG (The Elder Scrolls) and a buggy genre of games (MMO's).

    Talk about fail.

I bought a game with a paid subscription model, NOT a cash store gimmick model.
They basically swindled everyone with false information and stole money from us all.

I'm actually in agreeance with this. We should get one hell of a serious compensation for the *** we just got put through here. I mean I'm not too pissed about it going B2P, but I am plenty pissed that we won't get compensated for pretty much testing the entire game for them for free, hell paying to test the game.
Bobbity Boop, this game might become poop, but I'll still play because I'm just a pile of goop!

How was it without your consent? I could see this statement a month after release once the first 30 days of the subscription that came with the game passed. I am guessing you have at least played more then a month so you consented to play the game by continuing your subscription. If you thought it was "beta" quality why did you continue to play? Beyond that if that is your opinion of the game don't play! Don't concern your self with the direction this game is going in time to move on.

Why did you pay for a game you thought was Beta quality? There always has been an option to unsubscribe.

Let's see.....I,like many of you, stuck with this game and continued to pay a sub because of the misleading and sometimes completely false information given to us by ZoS. They should have told us the truth that the monthly sub was temporary. They did not inform us because they wanted money from the subs to fund their 'new' game model. Many of us believed they were improving the game and adding content to justify paying a monthly sub. Instead, we WASTED money on a sub. We paid ZoS for the ability to Beta test this game.

REFUND OUR MONTHLY SUBS FOR THIS GAME, AND WE CAN MOVE ON!

But They did improve the game and add content. And by the looks of it, they will continue to do so.

What is the difference in paying for content $15 a month vs $30 every couple months for some new dlc that is released?

Some $15 a month barrier to keep out riffraff? Newsflash... Paid sub games still have plenty of trolls, jerks, 12 year olds, and ne'er-do-wells. Head over to the biggest example of that in the MMO genre and find out for yourself.

I vaguely recall ZoS responding to this topic last year when people were raging about it. Something along the lines of that was not the direction they were going to go? Anyone recall the article(s) about this?

The butthurt is REAL!!! Demanding a full refund....thats cute! Whats next...class action lawsuit? Tell you what, you press charges on the hooded mysterious game developer that tied you up, dragged you to your game store, forced you to pay the cashier for the game, then forced you to put your credit card number into their database, and then checked up on you every month with a weapon pointed at you and made sure you stayed subscribed for the entire year. Show me proof of that person behind bars and I'll freakin pay you pathetic sub fee if you promise to never again taint any MMO with your presence for the rest of your life. #chumpchange

Yes, they do, but not nearly as bad. The "free plus microtransactions" formula attracts stupid people like nothing else. Do you really want to argue that people playing Candy Crush are no worse than people playing EVE or pre-F2P ESO?

I did not stick with this game based on what ZoS did or did not tell me. I stayed with it because it is a fun game to play, I believe it will continue to be a fun game to play. It is leaps and bounds better then when it was released. I don't believe there was any conspiracy it was just unknown or not solidified on the path they needed to take to release the game on console.
Did you enjoy playing the game? If so it was not a waste of money or time.

Well you know a refund isn't going to happen so perhaps just move on.

That's true, but having to buy the game rather than download it for free is an effective way of reducing the stupid people in the game, not to mention the gold sellers. After all, the game is going BTP, not F2P as most critics are ignorantly claiming.

Anyone who has paid to play the game these past months has presumably considered that they've been getting value for money. If not, why didn't they cancel?

OP- You know there are "agencies" who handle requests like this? Just saying. Posting them would probably get Mod'ed out, but yelping about it on their forum no matter how angry you are right now, is about as effective as telling your RL neighbor.

I mean they didn't listen to a year of polls and commentary that the majority of the base here didn't want this passing it off as "listening to the community" in the PR....so, if you are truly after a refund, *I* don't think you will get one this way.
If options weren't necessary, and everyone played the same way, no one would use addons. Fix the UI!

    Analogy time:

An fund promises you a safe, long term investment. You take the offer and keep steadily depositing money in it.

Suddenly, the fund goes back on its promise & makes some high risk trades aiming for some quick money. You lose your money.

Some people would call this a scam.

Now replace the word "fund" with MMO and the word "money" with time.

I don't see what the big deal is. We'll get 100 crowns for each month we have subbed, and 1500 crowns for each month we continue to sub. 100 crowns for testing, 1500 crowns for keeping our sub active and rewarding their dishonesty. Seems fair to me.

If you are calling it "beta quality" now, console users will still be calling it a "beta quality" game in the summer.

I would prefer to play a 'Beta quality' game for free.......which is what ZoS is NOW doing. There was no need to pay a sub if this was their plan from the start.
