So are you saying that you use Pets in virtually all of your builds, including competitive end-game group content? Please confirm.

Yes, because obviously everyone in the world who plays a sorcerer as their main must agree with you. Obviously there is not a single sorc player who actually likes the idea of being a summoner. Obviously you can read the mind of every single person who plays ESO.
You seem to have a problem with not understanding the difference between your opinion and facts. The fact is that some sorcerer players want summoning and some don't. Your opinion is that you don't want it. Understand the difference now? You don't speak for everyone.

Because any sorc build plows through all the content like its nothing, somehow super casuals managed to get vr content nerfed when the opposite needed to happen, sub vr content needed to be made harder.
As it is leveling is such an insignificant part of the game that you can do it with any old build. Mainly what we are talking about it end game content and pvp which are the only semblance of a challenge in this game.
Please give us a frost class at the very least.

Congratulations on fretting over semantics. Fact vs. Opinion, oh noes!
My OP is clearly targeting the problem of Pets in end-game group content (trials, PvP, etc.) where most (is that an acceptable pronoun?) players tend to agree that Pets are woefully underpowered.

Why ask me what I am saying when you can scroll up and read it? Hint, it was all about presenting your personal opinion as more than a personal opinion.

Actually, it isn't clear if, by your own admission, your rhetoric is clearly unclear. You should probably edit it with this new statement to keep more posters from replying with the same.

Please explain how creating a new world skill line for necromancy destroys your build? If it happened, you'd more than likely be refunded your skill points in daedric summoning and given a 1:1 xp transition to the new related skill in that skill line.jamesharv2005ub17_ESO wrote: »So you want a bunch of people's playstyles destroyed so you can min max better at PVP? The players saying no to this want to effectively restrict 90% of sorcs to using only 2/3 of their class skills. That is the injustice here. Not your misplaced fear that your build would be destroyed, which it wouldn't.
OP, you should of known there are relatively few people actively competing in the trials and PvP on the general discussion forums. Unfortunately ZOS wants to cuddle with the "Icats" crowd and feels 100% of sorcs want to as well. IMO it's one of the worst design decisions of the game and certainly doesn't fall into the games cliché "play as you want".
By moving the skill line out of the sorc class, it would significantly improve build diversity. It's a win-win, but obviously players want to look past that. Can anyone even come up with a valid reason why it needs to be in the sorc skills? We want to make it available to everyone for @#$% sake.

Or change the class name to "Summoner", at the very least change the description to something like "Sorcerers depend on pets to for viability, blah, blah, blah"
Because choosing Sorcerer you assume reading the description that your strength will be spells and magic use
Because the cake walk that is single player content in the VR zones =/= end-game competitive group content where literally no Sorcs run pet builds.

People do not use pets now in end game content, however with the right amount of love from ZOS they could very well become viable.
While I personally do not like pets that doesn't mean there are not those that do enjoy that play style. Asking for part of a class to taken away because you do not like it isn't fair to those that do enjoy the pets. Sorc is the only class available for those that want pets. The love ZOS is giving to that aspect of the class will hopefully help those that enjoy pets.
As a melee sorc who uses the clannfear as an off tank may I just say; this would be fine but I also play a NB and some of the shadow line is appealing, so can everyone have that too, please?
We are not asking for this^. We do not want to take away your pets....we want to give pets to everybody. And get something useful for a sorc in return.
