They will add a NON PVP Cryodill zone right after they add an optional PVP version of every other zone. Checking the long term plan that is around.......never.

    QFT

The game is already too easy. No need to change the way cyrodiil works.
I don't want it to change, my reply was to the OP, as in their request will never happen, so stop asking for a non PVP Cryodil zone

You are answering a post from July? Sigh.. wonder if he is even playing the game any more.
Power level to CP160 in a week:
Where is the end game? You just played it.
Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

I'm happy and reassured at the not losing items to pickpockets, but the idiot antics of 13-year-olds jumping around in banks (and sometimes unleashing their ultimates for no reason I can imagine) make me wary of the whole "it's a PC, die die die" thing.
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    @newtinmpls‌ , Cyrodiil is huge.

If you take certain precautions, like stealthing when entering a town, you can go about pretty much undisturbed.

Yeah, you occasionally run into players you can't avoid and they may kill you, but that is not the end of the world.

I'm a PVE player and yes I absolutely despise PVP for a few reasons, but hey, cyrodiil is the only pvp zone in this game and we have the rest of the map for PVE. let's be fair.

if I want to experience "peaceful" version of cyrodiil, I'll just dust off my TES4 disc and not think about eso cyrodiil.
zos has given us a whole new pve zone (craglorn) back in May 2014 and they have even expanded it by adding upper craglorn, and there may be even more new PVE zones in the future.

so yes, as much as I love PVE and dislike PVP with a burning passion, I say leave cyrodiil as it is.

I agree, I see no downside to this. If I go there for PvE purposes only that doesn't help the PvPers other than maybe providing the enemy some easy kills.

Even DAOC had a co-op server!

You do know that justice system part 2/2 is bringing PvP to everywhere. Will be cops and robbers between players.

So having a PvE Cyrodiil would be equivalent exchange.

Additionally, this guarantees that the PvP population is there for PvPing or sandbagging another factions numbers in the alliance war screen.
Due to a typo in the system, the area was accosted by the Daedric Prince Moar Lag Brawls.

I know people will laugh at me for asking that and call me stupid, but I really do want a non pvp Cryodiil experience. I just want to go in and explore the area and do the side quests. I HATE pvp in every way, but I don't want to be excluded from the story lines and delves in there. I can't take my time and listen to the NPC's when I'm in constant threat of being killed by other players (and my alliance never seems to have control over very much area).

It's easy to tell me "if you don't like it then just don't go there". Well, that's certainly an option, but it's not the one for me because of all the story I would be missing out on (missing out on because I don't do well in pvp). I also am a huge Elder Scrolls fan and I want a chance to re-explore Cryodiil in this game as I did in Oblivion.

I'm am posting this in the PvE discussion section because the PvE people are the ones I'm trying to reach. If you agree with me please comment and let the devs know how we feel about it.

Thanks everyone, including those of you who are bound to disagree lol.

Its called "Elder Scrolls: Oblivion"! Great game

I HATE PvE in every way, but I don't want to be excluded from the fun of "omg you n00b, let me complete my quest you a$$". I can't take my time and listen to the NPC's when I'm in constant peace and casual feeling.

    Highlited the parts I changed.

Just an honest question. Why is this right for you and wrong for me?

PvP is not something added to a game, just for the fun of it. It is a legit game mode. Nowhere in your game purchase you signed a contract that said "This game is a PvE only game, and any PvP is completelly optional, plus it does not affect the game in any way."

PvP'ers are not just some minority who should be happy for what they've got, but sh*t up about it. They are paying customers like you, they have the exact same rights as you.

Easiest way to do this would be to disable the PVP resources (castles/farms etc) after the end of a campaign period, then people entering would be non-PVP flagged until they attacked another player. Having flagged themselves they would remain flagged until 2 mins of non-PVP activity had passed.
You could additionally have this on one campaign only and only if within that campaign as a guest and whilst the campaign was expired, thus protecting as much of the PVP element for its fans as possible.

This is a good idea. PVP players claiming this would rob them of their only zone have clearly missed the part where the OP asks for one campaign. The only thing they would be robbed of is cheap kills.

I love when people whine about whiners, btw...and keep threads they wish would die alive by doing so. A quick tip for you who do this...threads won't die while you're posting "I wish this thread would go away" in them. You're only helping them survive.
Ask not what your sweetroll can do for you....

Could they not just partition the Cyrodiil environment? By that I mean use the 'Campaign' option from the menu for PvP but if you travel via map/wayshrine it's a PvE environment.

Personally, although I mainly play PvE, I would like to see more PvP options across the whole map.

    I actually agree with this!

I also wished that Zenimax would implement a "newbie-roleplayer-PvErs" campaign for Cyrodiil, where PVP would not be disabled, but would not give any Alliance point. Players would just go there as a playground for casual PVP, roleplay or PVE.

Why would it be beneficial for everyone?

    1. PVEr - Roleplayers- Casual players would have their own campaign to have fun and set up events, including roleplayPVP events.
    2. Those players would also not jpoin the "real" PVP campaign, leaving more slot for real PVPers
    3. This would not cost too much in term of devellopement and would offer players a wonderful playground to do everything they want without annoying everyone else

This thing is needed now more than before especially that newest DLC is another PVE content in *** land of cyriodiil PVPers and gankers.

Lootable TV stones will just encourage more griefing and ganking damaging relationship between player, introducing even more hostility into game, encouraging LEECHING on others work and being a PARASYTE

Cyrodiil PvE is pointless without the PvP danger, as that is what it is inherently designed around. A PvE-only Cyrodiil, without changing the entire setup of how PvE in Cyrodiil works, would not function as designed.
