It doesn't hurt to /ignore magnusnetCCP, the company of EvE Online did this more than once@magnusnet just mention one company that invites players to the HQ, in order to get their feedback and discuss the future of the game. But it is still a cool thing to do, no doubt.

This. It speaks positively about the game when the same people continue to post negative comments for months. Others might be inclined to ask why they stick around if they hate the game so much, but really the answer is right there. Those that really do hate the game, leave.
To @magnusnet: Over the months you have been posting I came to realize that you are more of a fan than almost everyone else on the forum. Now I read what is written with the understanding that you are actually very much interested in the success of ESO. People should give you a break. If you are not lined up every 8 hours to vote for ESO on MMOGames.com, I will be mildly surprised. (Sorry if I outed you)
End Game is easy and trials aren't even real raids.
The UI is one of the worst nowadays.
They can't even deliver proper patches almost 1 year after launch and they keep breaking stuff.
The only good thing about this game that is different from other games is the questing system (Edit: and except for Craglorn, I dare say it is IMO the best solo leveling system in any MMO i've ever played since you can get to max level (except when they fracked that up with changes to gained exp) by only questing and without grinding for a single second) which sadly isn't enough to make a subscription game survive since once you finished the quest, it's bye bye time for most people.
Keep being a fanboy and smashing that love button
The UI is one of the worst nowadays.
As for Eso Live ask us anything, 100 people could post the exact same question they don't want to answer to on forums and they still wouldn't pick those questions to be answered so it's just a PR stunt.

Go QQ in an other post. I'm not going anywhere. You can alternatively just ignore me, I don't really care.Frenkthevile wrote: »Magnusneet, go troll another thread plz.

I am still holding on to the hope that the Imperial City is included in Update 6. In a previous ESO Live show, one of the devs confirmed brand new Alliance War skills are coming in 1.6. I would be very surprised if these are the only PVP changes we see, especially since it was widely reported from the Guild Summit that the Imperial City was pretty much finished at that time except for some itemization. That was two months ago. Surely it is ready to be released by now.
The UI is one of the worst nowadays.
My main gripe with the UI is that most of the game's functionality is so dependent on add-ons to offer basic implementation. And the add-ons would be fine if every update didn't break 90% of them, and the add-on developers didn't leave the game, reducing functionality bit by bit every month. Some new add-on devs come, some go. It's never the same, and I can't quite seem to keep things consistent.
The add-ons are one of the best (and worst) features of ESO.

Complaints about the writing style aside...combat animations? Seriously? Who cares?
The OP seems very...optimistic. Which is good I suppose.
But given the scope of the upcoming changes I would not be surprised to be met with a plethora of bugs, glitches and exploits. Which in turn will incite various threads on the forums littered with complaints, whines and drama (can't really blame them either). High optimism can lead to high disappointment, dear sir.
But I do suppose I concede with the notion that zos listens to the community--but only to the point where I call it passable. The implementation of the VR system, the first-person view, the VR nerf and now the scrapping of the VR system for the champion system tells me that they at least listen to the player base a very decent amount.
But for things like class imbalance, lag and grouping difficulties are problematic areas of the game where I occasionally wonder just how often and in what manner they prioritize in-game problems. Their fixes are certainly existent most of the time, but certain fixes are far and few between.
That being said, despite all the things that could go wrong, the content described in the article certainly appeals to me to a very high degree, and I do not mind if I have to wait for it.

Well at least they are waiting til next year to release it so maybe we can have more PTS time with it and maybe they can have more time for bug fixes instead of trying to push it out in the 6 week time frame.

@AssaultLemming , they do...as much as dev's QA.*gives cooke to @magnusnet* thanks, didn't know that.
I however think it's a bit too early to judge their reaction on the guild summit since 1.5 is the only major since the meeting and the big part of the discussion was on other topics. I think we will get to know a bit more once we see 1.6.
@Sublime
COokieeee!! *Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom* (I actually didn't know either, thanks Google).
I agree it is early and the next 2 or 3 updates where prolly planed a long time before the summit. That being said, when Arena was being tested on PTS ZOS asked for feedback from the Hardcore guilds that finished it. The main concern was: the loot (Master Weapons) sucks, we won't include it in our builds, this makes the whole content useless and most people will likely not do multiple runs (it happens to be actually worth doing runs just to get the Healer's rings & sell them for 90k+ but the loot keeps sucking) ZOS said: "ah ok ok" and the only thing they changed to the loot was +x magicka which still makes it u s e l e s s. The concerns about the UI have been going on since Beta by people like @Attorneyatlawl (who did the testing to prove Sharpened trait was broken proving the incompetence of ZOS's QA team) and ZOS has never replied to them (now that I think of it it's soon time for my monthly "Fix your UI ZOS" post. There are also complains from solo players craving for more content, especially end game solo content, and even though I may not agree with them they also deserve a clear answer from Zenimax which hasn't happened.
Indeed, the guild summit idea is great, but it's kinda like Congress. A select few are voted in to represent, but it's a limited set of concerns that get addressed.
People submit feedback here. People submit feedback and bugs in game.
It's not like there is not data to be had without PR meetings.
The problem is, when these things get passed along, they go into the ethereal plane and no one gets to see what happens once it's on the other side.
If there was some kind of viewable/updateable system where the known issues could be seen and the status known, I think it would be worth a ton to the players that want to want to support this game.
It could also eliminate a lot of duplicate reports. Check the status, nothing to add, +1 the counter and move on.
Not asking for complete transparency, by any means, but a little translucency might be appreciated.
So the big things about update 6, according to this article, are:
- Provisioning Revamp
- Collector System
- Champion System
- Combat Animation Enhancement
So out of the four main aspects of the update, all four are actually "fixes" of existing systems in ESO? There's no NEW content here... or am I missing something?
Champion System is not just replacing Veteran System, but is also expanding it quite a bit. Something not many MMOs have done.
You might not feel like it, but that passive skill tree is going to have a huge impact on the game.
Sure they could add another zone instead of it, you'd burn through it in a day and then cry how there is no content anymore. Champion System will last casual gamers for years.

correct.
Does not make it any less awesome though, as all those fixes are ones that many people here look forward to very, very much

January PTS and January release... same crap, different year.
Just to clarify, Update 6 will be coming to the PTS in January. This is our biggest Update yet--it's like two Updates in one--so we want to give ample time for testing. It won't be coming to the live servers in January.

Man I know. I wish they would let us test it for the whole 6 weeks. And test patches to them during that time too.
