Does AD NOT want PVP to happen on Haderus?

:) Tyago got his mojo back. Most of EP's core reassembled and we took the ring. Didn't run into any resistance besides the Had AD natives. Most of us are faceplanting in bed about nows but our new emp is going to have his jollies while he can. Cheers for fun pvp!
Meanwhile while you were taking our keeps, our top guys were 1) ignoring you or 2) helping you. There were only a handful of us trying to stop you after Arrius fell. Mya and I put up token resistance at one keep, getting some kills but ultimately failing to prevent anything. At Roebeck you had one siege engine with 1-2 other hidden guys and I made some attempts at shutting it down. While this was happening there was another top ranked player just sitting on the keep wall watching it all happen. Then when your reinforcements arrived I got tired of feeding you AP and left.

I don't know if the AD plan was to get our Emp dethroned or what, I'm never privy to what the guilds are thinking because they tend to ignore the rest of us. Good job taking Emp though, we did not deserve it with our showing last night.

On a related note, why don't the Cyrodiil campaigns reset to unclaimed keeps in the inner ring with each alliance having their home keeps at the beginning of each new campaign? Or does that happen before I ever log in after reset? Always seems to be in the same state after the new campaign starts.

We actually encountered staunch resistance at Aleswell for a couple hours, getting pushed back to the farm (tee hee). I got the impression the native AD weren't fond of the current emp for whatever reasons. It could only really be classified as pvdoor for the last 3 keeps, and normally it's hard for us to do that because of the massive AU presence.

I don't think the ring is reset to unclaimed at each camp end prob to discourage emp farming. It's a bit annoying to see AD always with 16k points into the week, but that's why pvp needs to happen not just on Had but on the other servers as well. PVP doesn't happen without players *making* it happen. I'd encourage one or two small-medium guilds to move to those servers. Have some AD and DC guilds move to AS, and AD and EP guilds move to CR. The only other options are "man there's no action on dead buff servers, I'm gonna go pvp on Thornblade" which quickly turns into "Man, lag sucks on Thornblade /sub!"

If anything AD should see less of the 3 hour meatgrinders and begin to adapt to more proactive tactics just as EP has to adapt to more defense. Neither of us have that safety valve, so that should yield a smarter, stronger player. The training wheels are off, and AD demonstrated some initiative during the Ales assault where they tried multi-pronged attack. I think we had roughly 16 players and they had slightly more, enough to push us out of the keep, but I think they ended up having to give up or break away to respond to DC attacking Glade.

Yeah, we did have a big fight at Aleswell. Might have called it Arrius by mistake, but both were good fights. True, Glade was an issue, I just wish our guys would realize that EP is much superior to DC as far as the Haderus natives go.

Telel would like to point out that this sudden resurgence coincided with their departure to a gaming convention that is keeping them occupied all weekend.

While this one is to humble to say that the lack of a very unskilled khajiit was instrumental in any victories on the part of their opponents they do wish it to be noted that nothing that occurred was their fault.

Here's the real problem: at prime time on Saturday DC has at most 30-40 players on the map. EP has less. Can't sustain any sort of battles without camps when the map is empty.

There was much death to be had on both sides during the Ales siege. That was the truest example of attrition. EP had the high ground and kept the battle more or less centralized near the farm for easy rezzing. Not so much for AD. They were able to repair the walls to get the keep unflagged for respawn at keep, but we tore the walls back down then the Glade siege hosed transit. It's an example of a good fight that can happen when all three sides dedicate forces to the campaign.

What *isn't* a good example is guilds issuing petty ultimatums putting their own goals above the interests of their players. It's rather petty for guild leadership to attempt to bully members against PVPing on a chosen server when the leadership themselves pvp very seldomly, if at all. I'm not sure of the details, but that's the gist I understood. ESO is meant to be a openly enjoyable game, and PVP open-world. If players enjoy pvp on server B as opposed to server A, that's their choice. Especially when server A is prone to massive lag and crashes.

EP and DC do not want pvp on their buff servers either, not just an AD thing.. I remember dawnbreaker, you even mention the word pvp and you were dragged through hot coals LOL

    Point of Order --

After the first cycle of Dawnbreaker it was an active and engaging PVP community with medium level activity on the server for all three factions most nights.

I spent most of the weekend on Haderus with my low level V 6 nightblade ( I haven't played at all this weekend on Thorn with my main Tempar which I used to do more often) and we had some good fights, specially against reds. EP have very strong group on Haderus and blues showing some activity too. I salute you all for some fun PVP.

Over this past weekend AD natives had fun too. Our sad semi-pug was out numbered but we put up a hell of a fight for the midway keeps. Then all those that fought for many many hours just trying to hold the line woke up the next morning to all yellow (I was a little sad).

I wish we could drop to just 2 campaigns, that way there is no buff servers because I had fun and no lag.

    Hmm.

1 - Many AD don't want Haderus to be a PvP campaign. They want the buffs (as EP and DC want on their respective servers).

2 - Those AD who do want Haderus to have action jump at the opportunity to actually have action and wind up overwhelming the limited numbers of EP who show up there.

3- Where have a lot of the better EP players gone? Sieg Blackheart was a hell of a player who always threw himself in a fight against the odds. Miss seeing him around.

4- It's hard to have enjoyable and, importantly, sustainable PvP action without FCs on buff servers because the map is too big and the population density is too small. OK, we have a really cool fight at Bleakers for 5 mintues and then it's over because all the Reds are dead in places where rezzing is impossible/impracticable. Then I will turn on Sportscenter for a half an hour waiting to see where the Reds will show up next. *Yawn*

5 - My guess is that the EP leaders still around are tired of banging their heads against a wall, trying to take solace in moral victories ("we held that resource for 20 minutes!"). With FCs at least this was borderline tolerable as at least you got some consistent action in that was relatively lag-free. But it still sucks. We used to try and give No Mercy the middle finger on Auriel's Bow back in the day, but the reality of the situation was that unless multiple guilds coordinated an "invasion" of a buff server, it was a frustrating exercise in futility most nights.
Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

AD on haderus deserve some of everyones pity. I went onto the server on my alt and did a bit of trolling, the chat was filled with "rekt" so I did the only logical thing, I led LoM into taking a keep, while I was on my AD alt. #ShrektByFixate

Also, any blues are welcome to come on over to Haderus! The legion tries to get some pvp in on the weekends, still working on getting a weekday core group. :)

PS: I'm not getting rekt if i am getting hundreds upon thousands of AP from farming you. /endEgospat

This one thinks that a leader who brags about how he leads his followers to failure is perhaps not the one this one wishes to be near.

They would not even want to be in their traditional spot of safely behind said individual for fear their ability to not succeed would become inconvenient in the midst of a furious barrage of flappity flaps.

No this one is not understood but they shall not hold it against you. After all the way of the mallet wielding viking ninja catgirl werewolf is a mysterious one and requires much speaking of things that other minds may not comprehend as actual words.

Or if it will make people feel better....you got it wrong but as you can just kill this one by smashing your face into things it is of little import.

To be fair the last couple of nights where this one has been able to spend more than mere minutes online they have tried to avoid the larger brawls between our oh so superior and morally upright opponents of the pacting types, and instead focused their most unskilled and inglorious attentions on those near mythical daggets in the blue corner.

They also throw imaginary tomatoes at the #$@$% #$#%^# @#$$#%$^%$%^$ who keep hanging out at the gates and ruining things for everyone. They would throw virtual tomatoes instead, but those are rarer than nirncrux.

Also Telel would like to report a horrifying development. Somehow they managed to become number six on the leaderboard for an entire hour. Fortunately this has since been rectified and such a terrifying concept was short lived.

AD hasn't had their normal yellow map on Had for a little while now. Galalin and co were around last night, and the reds were nothing but a pleasure to fight against. There was a three way in on of DC's keeps that was hilarious.

No purple or orange alliance, just everyone out to kill each other. Good times!

T'was funny though to see blue charge in the breach only to get sniped by AD and then get oils poured on them by the Reds that were occupying the yellow DC home keep. Classic!

Personally, I'm not seeing an issue in Haderus at all currently, It's far better than lagblade at the moment, and plenty of fights around the map, you just need to have rapid maneuvers and a fast horse to enjoy it.
