Does AD NOT want PVP to happen on Haderus?

Haderus has been dead since we finished making the whole map yellow late Saturday/early Sunday. I considered playing on Thornblade yesterday afternoon but all three alliances were pop locked. So I worked on leveling some skills via PVE instead. Ultimately I think we have too many campaigns, or not enough players to make all the campaigns competitive, whichever way you look at it.

I think if we had 2 full campaigns and 1 non-vet campaign, this would stave off the problem with both buff servers and the lack of consistently competitive pvp outside of a single campaign. The hope being it gives us two very competitive servers, and if populations got too large a third could be added. But four is clearly too many.

Haderus is exciting at times, but having experienced Thornblade there are frequent dry spells on Had.

Pro-Tip: If you want to encourage PVP on your own buff server, always leave your opponent a keep or two. It will encourage them to come out more often and give them a place to base their operations from.

There are some on AD side that suggesting that all the time- leave them keep or two, leave a scroll , don't attack the gates and so fourth. However, that's minority, majority seems can't see past their noses.

No, as then you would be plagiarizing Telel's catch phrase they have shouted out for over six months now.

They are not joking either. Ask anyone who spent time with them on Dawnbreaker, Chillrend, Thornblade, and Haderus. Almost every time they'd arrive at a battle or siege they'd shout that.

Hi Telel, how are you? Will be pvping on Haderus today?

No, Telel like many of the greatest felines throughout history hates Mondays.

But perhaps Tuesdays will see them not being seen as they do their best to gain APs without having to fight flappity flaps.

I see that Die and co setup a nice little AP farm on sej, till it got wiped.

Oh, how they mighty have fallen.

That happens. Especially on Had. Anything goes red or blue, yellow goes MINE! MINE MINE MINEMINE!

But a good assault is necessary for people to hone their skills and cut their teeth. AD has some strong ppl in the top 10 I notice, alot of their regualrs >-> and people who get sniped frequently.

I'm afraid making the above suggestion does little for one's popularity on the AD side. I have however been called some rather unique names for it.

There are some who are now beginning to see the logic behind a multi-color map including some in the local guild. I suspect things will be better over time.

If blue would show up in equal numbers to red then we would have our pvp campaign. Where are you blues? Don't be afraid of the Reds, granted we had to hit them with a plane full of trucks carrying brick houses, but I'm sure you guys can live up to the fight we expect from the Reds on Haderus.

A friend of mine told me 40+ some odd bananas descended on Kingscrest like old ladies on free samples at a grocery store.

Blueberries might be a tad bit anxious.

Plus I think Lord Fluffy's schedule has him all over servers. Not enough DC to go around.

40+.......geez. We used to go up there with 4 or maybe a whopping 6. I guess the title of this thread is a fitting one.

Pretty sure blue has lowest population of the three ;). We aren't afraid, we simply don't have enough numbers to be on two servers at once!

I wish there was a way to track total numbers. Total conjecture, but I suspect active DC PvP numbers to be less than 500.

There were actually more reds that night in a few sieges. But yeah, two groups of 30-40 people wanting to murder you seems like a small deterrent when you have no backup..... and yes.... when we realized it was a sizeable Red force we even brought double coupons we were so excited. So, to the Reds I say thank you for the great battles the other night. I believe someone mentioned in zone chat that we were glad you were around to give it hell.

Haderus is mostly a buff campaign, and most of those guilds that did real PVP on AD have jumped ship.. so your not really going to see any real PVP groups on Haderus.

basically there is no point in PVP in Haderus.

the only thing thats going to happen is PvE untill you take EMP, then you still might be mostly PvE unless major PvE guilds in AD decide they want to do serpant or such, in which case the flood gates are opened..

is this really a shock considering the existence of "Buff" campaigns?

The problem really is that most either farm Buff campain PvE players who are not really anything other than Easy AP for PvP focused groups, or spam Lagblade which is always poplocked on the weekends..

    there is no middle ground.
