Wait a minute, you got a purple version of the new armor set and you are complaining? What the badlands. I'd be thrilled about that! Only things I got so far were generic green or blue weapons.
And thank Shor for no tokens. That only leads to dozens of currencies in the game when one is exactly enough.

I, for one, completely despise the Token system in any game. It's redundant. Why have a different currencies for different sets of rewards? Use GOLD! That's what it's there for.
Personally, I'd rather have random drops. The more random, the better. Even if the item is subpar, at least it keeps me motivated to try again. The idea is to not know what you're going to get which is far more interesting especially considering dungeons have exactly the same enemy layout no matter how many times you do them. If you're as picky with group composition as you make it sound, that's even worse because you're repeating the same content the exact same way. Random loot also has the side effect of having people progressing differently because they had to deal with what they have.
"Oh look. A token"
What's disheartening is the concept that you want to accumulate your "reward" so that you can spend them all at once the moment you reach VR14... so that you can skip the process of acquiring them naturally all-together.
First of all, Token systems tend to have multiple types of tokens. Meaning your VR1-3 tokens would theoretically be useless at VR14 because VR14 items would require another type of token. New content = new tokens. "yay!"
I get that the rewards right now aren't the most exciting thing ever and it's totally fine to ask for better rewards. To say that this current system is bad is another thing entirely.

Right. From the look of things, OP is running a FotM gear setup. Pretty much anything that does not further the progression of that build is going to be seen as garbage. I don't want them to make changes to the system just to accommodate this type of player. Pretty much everyone would be wearing the same thing then.s7732425ub17_ESO wrote: »
Not every armor set in the game has to match. Not all light armor must give magicka bonuses. Not all medium armor needs to give stamina bonuses. If you want that, there are plenty of sets already in the game for you. These new Undaunted sets are just another way players can "play as they want." With these new sets, you can now use all the light armor passives while having a stamina build. You can do this with medium and heavy armor as well. Just because these rewards are not specifically what you want doesn't mean other players won't enjoy them.

I have 7 characters, each running different combinations of armor. My bowplar is running light + medium for instance, to use both sets of passives. And some of the most fun sets I use are ones I stumbled upon.

Kinda not so intelligent..
ZOS get with the program already,
Magicka stuff on light armor, Stamina stuff on medium armor..
Hello... people don't want to go Hybrid and be gimped...
If you ask me this is the kind of thing I would expect in a free to play game. Random of random of random goodies.
Anyone else agree?

What? that totally makes sense. Are you being sarcastic?
EDIT: The RNG can be pretty frustrating at times...I think we can all agree to that.

FOTM. Oh lawd. Just to be clear I have not changed my spec since April. Infact my account was unsubbed from may till 2 weeks ago I have been playing the same build I had then.
FOTM. Oh boy thanks I needed the laugh.
To clarify, I'm using FotM to refer to build types that are popular. It just so happens in this game balance has been a slow process, so the flavor of the month has stayed largely the same for several months.ZOS_PierreL wrote: »Hello everyone,

Thx, that was a typo on my part, edited it out. The set had stamina and spell crit on a light armor piece, which I wanted to point out as being stupid. It's not about FOTM or "play how you want to play" builds, it's about things that work together. Stamina set boni on a light armor set are completely useless. If you insist on using completely random things together, maybe you could craft them, but it still doesn't make sense to have them as a drop because they really are purple vendor trash for most people.
Undaunted Mettle: This passive increases your health, magicka, and stamina when wearing different types of armor.

Does anyone have a list of what the rest of the set looks like? Considering the new Undaunted passive, this mismatch may be intentional.Undaunted Mettle: This passive increases your health, magicka, and stamina when wearing different types of armor.
In all honesty I would much rather have a chance at an item I want each and every day rather than waiting 10 or more days to save up tokens.
