Not enough XP in VET Quests to reach the next Level

HI I'm hoping you can answer my question,
I'm currently Vet3 with approx. 600000xp to reach Vet 4.
After the patch last night I was getting 499xp for completing a quest, with my calculations it will take me 1200 quests to reach Vet 4 at that rate, it's my assumption that there is a bug!

If this is working as intended can you answer the following question.

Where does the extra XP to reach V14 come from?

i havent checked the new numbers for xp and such.
However, before patch 1.5.2 you got different amounts of xp or vp from quests. small quests give small amounts of xp and bigger and longer quests such as finishing quest hub gives a lot of xp.

not to mention you get xp from killing stuff while doing quests, walking around etc. Level up is not determined by quests along and different quests gives different amounts.

though I have seen other complain as well so maybe some numbers is too low atm.

A lot of veteran xp comes from Delves, Dolmens and World Bosses.........

There are 6 Delves, 3 Dolmens and 6 World bosses in each VR area make sure you find them all........

Delves can be a good source of repeat xp too as they tend to have a lot of mobs in a small area......

I have my favourites for this purpose in each VR area but I have never finished an area before levelling up to the next level, for me repeats runs are often just for fun.

This was a customer service question, not a general discussion.

If there is a bug I would like to know, as I do not wish to level if there is currently a bug.

Also Not everyone can get a group for dolmens and world bosses. So far I have had to do these solo as a Vet as the zones are devoid of other players.

The Group tool appears to be broken, 5 hours of queuing last night despite the new undaunted and not one group! I'm a healer!

Did Delve, got 240 xp for completion.

We have stealth so if you want you can avoid fights, is your suggestion that this is now redundant!

I'm seeing the same thing. Doing Cadwell's Silver as a V4 DK in Riften. The night before patch I was getting around 50k xp from completing the major quests. After patch I'm getting less than 5k for major quests and around 500xp for the minor. Something is up.

Never had an issue finding help for dolmens or world bosses, I just ask in zone chat......

Same for Group Dungeons or I organise help with these through my Guildmates. Of course this means sometimes I have to wait a few hours but hey there is other stuff waiting to be killed.

I have a VR13 and a VR5 both find help equally easily.

Oh just to add in the past 2 days I have been running a set of three Delves in VR10 Rift with my VR13 and have worked out the maths.......

I am getting about the same percentage of xp that I was before the update, maybe just a small amount less.

Quite glad your Zone is full, Glad your getting enough XP, however it doesn't change the fact the majority of people posting currently are actually wondering how they are going to level.
I have to assume that if I ever reach Vet 5 using the currently maths with the amount of XP I'm getting probably not soon, when I chat in zone there may be someone else there!

What if there's not enough many quests to level you for the next zone for players starting Vet content after 1.5 ?? Afaik, no quests are repeatable.

Aren't we going to be vastly under-leveled when it's time for Cadwells Gold and Craglorn?
