I'd like a better dying system as a whole. I'm currently rocking Medium armour in the barbaric style, but it always has a brown tint to it - no matter what colours I choose.

I've noticed that w/ the cloth / leather type armors, they will always have a sort of "base color" that you are dying on top of, but will always have a hint of its original color.

Heavy armors, however, tend to dye much more fully and tend to look a lot better since they usually show the actual color that you are trying to dye them, and not some unintended amalgamation of original color + dye, like the lighter armors.

The weapon is a dull dark purple... I mean come on. It looks nearly identical to the white version. The shield is like some weird faded light red on faded iron color. So bad.

As a guild leader, I am extremely frustrated by this issue. No dye on weapons and shields just looks bad.

There is no good reason not to allow the dyeing of weapons and shields. Anyone who does not want to dye theirs would not have to. Dye on any item is completely optional and it should be on weapons and shields as well.

When armor dyes was coming out people was crying about "oh what a trash now EVERYONE will run around with pink armor!!1", so now we have armor dyes, how often you see players in bloody PINK? -_- mostly its neutral colors choosed with taste, but very often weapons and especially shield colors broking it, so I fully agree that we need weapon/shield dyes as well.

Totally man. The same people used that same lame pink fear excuse to try to shut down my weapons and shields coloring idea. Shows how much they know.

I do see my fair share of pink and purple warriors, tbh.

Not that I ever cared that much if people want to run around looking like some sort of fruit.

I agree, very few people dye in pink or purple, most go for colours you see in heraldary like blacks, red, yellow and greens. (not saying that was what people are thinking, just noting a natural overlap).

I would also like dyed shields and weapons, my shield should match my armour, and I would like my sword to look right too. Not weird colours for weapons though, but metalic colours, like copper or bronze or gold, maybe black would work too.

I see a few... every now and then, that look like World Eaters Emperor's Children rejects, but, yeah, it's a rarity.

Well you can have you opinion if you enjoy being wrong, but my green blade does not go with my gold/red armor. it's just ugly.

At the very least, give us the option to revert to the previous tier colors. I'd rather have the steel/grey colors from Iron and Steel weapons than a purple Voidstone color.

Yes I would very much like to be able to color my weapons (Blade, Guard, hilt, pommel and decorations) and my Shields (base, attachments, and decorations as well as place my guild crest on my shields).

I believe it is in the best interest of immersion by allowing players to keep their gear within the color schemes they decide to use. Will there possibly be a few who use what some would consider an outlandish and clashing color scheme? Yes but they already do and to be quite honest... I do not see how allowing them to at least finish a half finished look is any less immersion breaking than what they are doing now.
