So when exactly are we going to see just about ANY buffs for NB ? I only see nerfs to the skills which was native for NB and their playstyle since the beginning.

The only skill they promised to buff since early access is useless Shadow Path. Yet it was nerfed instead even thou it alrdy was useless enought with such ennormous magicka cost.

    They did buff it slightly.

They didn't nerf anything about it, they fixed a bug that was causing it to heal for 2-3 times as much as it was supposed to.

If you're honestly mad that they fixed an exploit like that, I can't really trust your judgment when it comes to balance in this game...

-Cloak is still broken and only works 1/3rd of the time in PvP

-returning into "hide" takes far too long (honestly, my lvl 18 DK returns to hide faster than my fully kitted Bosmer *** NB)

-changed the tooltip on Siphoning Strikes because you couldn't properly code the skill to match... thus reducing the return, in a round about way.

    -nerfed Night's Silence

    -are reducing stealth attack damage

Why don't you just *** delete the NB class and move on with it.

They should at least allow us to change our character class; its 6 months of fu-bars.

Plus since NBs tend to be squishier than others - the randomly breaking mechanics tend to hit NBs worse. eg Swap occassionally not swapping; being out of the red zone and still getting damaged, etc.

I did, now you. Took me 5 months of shifting my play style, chasing one patch after another, scuttling after the devs like a mudcrab... really wore me out.

That was the last update in the "official" NBs have issues thread.

    ..Over 4 full months.

Yep, the powers that be have gone silent in the hopes that we NBs will either just go away or roll a new class...

Yeah, since some people manage to find new and new exploits to deal decent DPS with NB (and i realy mean just SOME, most of NB are a joke) ZOS decied that NB have no issues for some reason without actualy doing anything.
The only way to deal decent dps with NB is to go some neutral ways of DPS like Crushing shock which have nothing to do with NightBlades at all and have no synergy with NightBlade passive unlike other Sorcs or DKs.

And NO, Path of Darkness was NOT buffed. I wasnt even talking about Refreshing path, but about Twisted Path (the one which suppose to deal more dmg). Devs promises to buff it in this exact topic months ago. Instead it was nerfed in damage. Either way, both of Path of Darkness morphs are plain useless.
Damage and heal are both redicilously low and can be easily avoided coupled with unexplainable high magicka cost.

And this is different than every other class.... how?

If by "decent", you mean the top dps in the game, then yeah, you'll probably be running a CS build. Not a NB-specific issue.

Well, for starters, nobody promised you anything.

And secondly, from the 1.1.3 patch notes that went live just a week and half after the OP in this thread:

    "Shadow
Path of Darkness: Increased the damage of this ability.
    "

So yes, it was buffed. Just not as much as you wanted.

    Learn to read.
As i said already, those neutral builds do Synergize with other classess very nicely.
Like improved Fire damage + Snare if you DK or Shock DMG if you Sorc.

And for starters, yet again learn to read, devs DID promised to buff that skill months ago.
It is STILL stated in first post among all of the steps to improve NightBlades.

"Path of Darkness damage will be increased. The ability will also be visible to all players."

They only made it visible to other players but decreased damage done in of the summer patches.

    You: They didn't buff Path

    I'm sorry, what?

Yes, they fixed a bug w/ Path in 1.2.3, because it was broken. And again, if you are the type of person who would rather they just leave broken abilities in the game because it benefits you, then it's hard to trust your opinion on game balance.

PS) It really doesn't matter if Crushing Shock builds synergize slightly better w/ DKs or Sorcs if NBs are able to achieve the same dps or higher w/ it, which they obviously are.

NB is a p.o.s. class. This is my main and I'm not rerolling. I'd rather unsub, oh wait I already did....
Why? because I can't play a dual wield assassin build and have a side quest,in a VR zone, not feel nearly impossible.
If I wanted to ask another player to help me I'd go to craglorn. fv*k this $h!7.

I love my nightblade vr14 and strong thinking about rolling another in imperial or nots race.....

I wonder whether each class has it's champion on the design staff, and changes are implemented based on which of those dominate the discussion.

The champion of Sorcery employs brilliant power to win crucial outcomes, while the brutal DK concentrates on dominating the project manager.

The Templar champion is, of course, preoccupied communing with his gods during all this, and the nightblade is quietly unobserved in the shadows, off to the side.
Behold the great Oak. Just a little nut who stood his ground.

Nb should get crit dmg reduction. You could implement that..while standing in path of darkness.
Or make it like dark talons.. aoe root for 4 sec while on path.
Or targets on pah get 50% miss chance.
Or while on path u get 20% attack bonus.
Or while standing on path he first 4-5 sec grants 100% dodge.

Or just forget it, sorc has crappy summoning skills way worse than nb lol

So after reading patch notes i see yet another NB Nerf incoming.
Im not talking about sneak attack dmg but Ambush skill mechanics.

Teleport Strike: The tooltip for this ability now specifies that it immobilizes other player characters instead of stunning them.

Dont want to respec my skills just to see what it say on original skill, but the Ambush morph now says that it stuns mobs for 1.5 or immobolize other players for 1 second.
Why does tooltip say so ? This ability was always STUNNING players, not immobolizing them. And it was stunning them for whole 1.5 secs like mobs, not for just 1 sec.
For those who dont know the difference:
Stun - complete disable of enemy character.
Immobolize - disable enemy character movement.
Immobolize means that enemy player character will still be able to fight back, cast any skills or just Dodge Roll to run away instead of using Break Free which cost much more stamina.

Is it just a misunderstanding betwin devs and patch notes makers again like it was with resto stuff ?

It seems that ability mechanics will be reworked soon to make it actualy immobolize players instead of stun.
After this, NB's will be left with 0 stunning abilitys (expect of a combo with Shadow cloack + Surprise attack ofc which is unworthy in PVP, because it take so much time to land that even autist would be able to block that).
Great way to "buff" the class supposed to dps, stun lock and burst.

Why dont you make Crystal Shards to Jiggle enemy player characters instead of stunning them ?

Ambush never stunned players... This was always something very dumb with the tool tip. Ambush used say it stuns MONSTERS... Which can be taken as npcs

Ok I have played a night blade before the patch and still play as one and I actually use path of darkness on my healer night blade. Just curious as to why Crippling Grasp gets reflected by DK reflective scales because it technically isn't a projectile, I think it would be a step in the right direction if Crippling grasp was not reflected by the Scales ability as well as One hand and shield Reflect might make things a little more balanced. Still many of our other abilities still need a fix including Dark cloak but I would really like to see the cripple fix.

Nightblades, you're not nerfed at all right now. If you're not fair developers won't improve your class.
