1,2k DPS will have to do. lol.
Lolz! Magica build NB is the mose OP thing in game atm, doing 1,3k-1,4k ranged dps with pressing just 3 buttons, insane ultimate regeneration speed and infiniti resource management - common, open your eyes, i'm just an improvement wich brings NB to more balance! "nerfed the NB into Oblivion....." - the most funniest thing i've heard

Are you playing a NB with 1,3k dps on a single target? Show us how u do it, by only pressing 3 buttons. If not, you might consider to keep your mouth shut.

Easy.
Start of the fight->Combat Prayer->Spell Symmetry->Caltrops (gets stronger from previous two)
Rotation: Cripple->Funnel Health (make sure to animation cancel)->Funnel Health->Funnel Health->Funnel Health->Spell Symmetry->Cripple->etc
Apply Veil on cooldown & use potions.
You're welcome.
P.S. As Nightblade I'm fine with this "nerf". Also, destruction staff has some excellent passives as well, so the difference shouldn't be that high.
Im a NB. I never touched a staff. I don't feel nerfed

^this. I have no doubt I will keep a consistent high DPS after the nerf. It might even be interesting to swap resto for a destro staff, if I'm not wrong the light attack does more damage on that? Could make the nerf even smaller. Since the 10% cycle of life dmg was the only reason I ever had resto for PvE.
No thanks..../yawn
If I wanted a caster would of made a Sorc.
With the nerf of the restoration staff, you entirely cracked the NB. It is because the NB not only loosing 10% (roughly 7% effectively) damage, it is loosing 10% selfheal too. So lets summarize this class:
The class is completly useless now!

I believe so, also the "burning" from Fire Staff adds quite a bit to DPS (I wish they'd balance the other elements too... else everyone will be wearing Fire Staff lol). I'd anticipate the DPS loss being more like 2-3% after the "nerf", but it'll have to be tested.
NBs won't get the the buffs or fixes it needs until the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood get into the game. Those skill trees should have what us NBs need to finally start doing what we were meant to do.
Incorrect to say that this nerf hit everyone.
It is clear that it hit NBs the most, because NB is the only class (other than templar) that has no synergy with the destro staff for single target dps.
Sorcs have critical surge, and destro was their preferred weapon for single target dps prior to this patch. DK has fire damage passives that boosted destro.
This is a massive nerf to NBs, and it is plain and clear.

Just so you know, the upcoming dark brotherhood style will include light armor (as well as heavy armor). Same thing with the Morag Tong and Thieves Guild styles, each of which will have light armor (robe and jerkin variations) and heavy armor.
