there isn't an mmo out there that doesn't have bugs, 'fix cycles', exploiters etc

our feedback sessions with Zenimax stress the problems that their current policy on communication addressing exploits/bugs etc every single time we meet

This is not really a fair assessment and just for the record many people posting in this thread are the same people that post in threads about aoe caps, ways to fix population imbalances, class balance and an open letter to Zenimax about all those issues and many others.
I think we are all a little upset that Zenimax seems to be sleeping at the wheel when it comes to the RvR in this game but trying to call out players for posting in one thread and not posting in another is not productive.

He doesnt care and neither does ZOS.. it is obvious they allow blatent cheaters to continue to play and ruin the fun for those who dont. I have 3 15min videos of [snip] and using a sorc and nb. ZOS could careless.

You know..from what I've gotten from this thread is a video of something that Ive seen from other sorcs in game on differing factions.

Ive read different hypothesis on the bugged out mechanic yet no one can seem to reproduce it.

Wasn't there a post from someone saying that ZOS had indeed inspected this persons build and came back and said it was skill?

Then the player themselves begs ZOS to look at their build .

I understand you're convinced. I too would have bet my life that a certain DK used to hack cause he took NO damage from me as well the first time I fought him. Then I learned about Pact gear.Then I learned about using multiple shields.
Then I learned about synergies and buffs and potions..and it made a little more sense.

I'm not casting a yay or nay vote but at this point what ya gonna do? We sat for weeks being camped by DC scrubs at our maingates. We watched ppl use caltrops for weeks making themselves invulnerable..ppl still using bugged out sorcs and ya'll are angry about one player who has come here and asked ZOS to inspect their game.

I mean at this point in this drama I'm starting to question some other stuff besides this guys "build".

I won't accuse anyone of cheating lightly. I lose to combinations of abilities I've never seen before all the time, but I have 60 days played in this game man and almost all of it in PVP. I know every defensive ability and set in the game and what this guy is doing isn't shield stacking. I've said it time and time again, I can burst through shield stacks in a few seconds of attacking anyone. 2K damage isn't really that much. This guy's shields just can't be cut through as long as he doesn't let them wear off unless he is taking an absurd amount of physical damage.

I'm worried about ALL the exploits and issues in the game, but this one has been going on long enough and now it is spreading.

I know it takes damage to break through them, but you're constantly refreshing them, I burn down templar all the time, they can't cast their shields faster than I can burn through them and kill them. With the exploiting Sorc he only casts them once every 10-20 seconds while people are banging on him unless it is a ton of physical damage.

Yep just to be clear I mean I'm stealthed from a distance, have buffed my weapon with camo hunter and the snipe added to the proc is no more than 300.

Can ZOS provide total transparency of the combat calcs on line ?
Can we also have a test option in the settings to make sure everything is working ok.

I'm seeing these invincible players as well. Just last hour I was in a group retaking a keep. There was maybe 3 enemy players and a few npc guards defending the inner part. The health bars of those enemy players were not moving even slightly despite a large number of people attacking them. This lasted for a good 5 minutes and much dodging of ultimates and oil. Assuming it's an exploit I hope something is done about it because it is ruining the PvP experience for me.

I can barely tolerate PvP anymore it's so god damned borked.

I just lethal arrowed a sorc 3 times, with both piercing mark and camo hunter active, and still did zero damage to them! I followed that up with a couple Swallow Souls and several light and heavy attacks... Nothing.

I love PvP when it works... but it's rarely ever done so long enough to not wonder: 1) wtf is wrong with ZOS!?, and 2) why the hell would I repeatedly pay out monthly for a game running at this level of staggering mediocrity!?

Brother I'm with you I can see the potential of what Cyrodiil could be. I mean damn it's huge and beautiful and the PvP is so close to being right but at the same time its miles away. But I think we the PvPers have been written off.

Zenimax set the tone when in the first few weeks you had the DK/vamp crap where one guy would take out 20-40 people. Zenimax just set on it letting it go even though this was one of the most important times in a games life. This was the point were people make their first impression of a game and PvP system and what they found was one guy killing 40. So the players wait thinking this can't be right, Zenimax will surely hot fix this. But no those guys farmed for weeks before changes were made.

The guild I came to ESO with has been running around since the early days of DAoC and have RvRd in way to many MMOs, so we knew what to expect at launch and understand that nothing is ever perfectly balanced but the speed at which Zenimax addressed it actually drove a few off at that point.

Then we had caltrops issue which really was game breaking. You could not stop a sieging force. We thought surely Zenimax will hot fix this you just can't leave it alone it breaks the defending and taking of keeps. They just set on it for weeks if not close to a month all the while groups are openly exploiting it. Some going so far as to shout down anyone in zone chat that tried to discourage the use of it. We actually had a guildie come to the forums and voiced a complaint and violated Zenimaxs almighty name and shame policy. We lost a lot after this.

Caltops fixed and Cyrodiil just gets flat out broken, performance takes a nose dive weapon swapping doesn't work the game is unplayable for many. Still Zenimax takes their time, weeks for them to even admit to a problem month or more before its gets fixed. Pretty much lost the rest of the guild at this point.

Toss in the problems that have always been present light armor/ staff pretty much outperforms everything else, the aoe cap/blob issue, population imbalances and many others and through it all the one constant no communication from Zenimax.

To add insult to injury people that take it a step farther and actually exploit/cheat seemed to be a protected group. Before people jump in with you can't prove that well in this case perception is reality. Much of the player base is demoralized because they see many of the guys not even trying to hide what they do and day after day they remain in Cyrodiil. Even if Zenimax is doing "something" it is in no way evident to the player base.

There are now 2 in my original guild left that log on with any regularity. We started with 60+ now that may not sound like a lot but keep in mind these were all long time MMO vets we were all used to being abused by MMOs. The issues the game has had would have surely ran off some no matter the response from Zenimax but I dare say a majority would still be here if Zenimax just had acknowledged and addressed the problems in a more timely manner.

I honestly think at this point they have killed off the PvP population to the point that Zenimax has crunched the numbers and decided that the percentage of players that consider RvR very important is not worth the investment of more resources. That they will see a better return as seen by total player retention and new payers added by devoting most if not all remaining resources to the PvE side of the game.
