    They went underground....

No, literally, they went underground. Beneath that little half a pixel layer we all think is miles of solid earth, but we're basically just floating on air when we walk around. They're under there.... I'm leaving.

Its because after getting a fast horse you dont really need gold all that much.

So there is low demand hence low income from gold selling in game.

Have you actually seen this, or are you just guessing? Resource nodes disappearing before your eyes can be a phasing problem, and I don't get that more than perhaps once per day, and only in crowded areas where you can expect many phases to be running in parallel.
I am not saying you are wrong, but can you provide some more information on how you know this? I would like to be able to detect underground botters myself.

I'm a man of few words. Any questions?

Nice to see their absence. Frankly, I don't care if they're around, so long as it isn't obvious to me.

The disappearing node effect has several possible causes, phasing is indeed one I've seen in action. However, there certainly were underground botters you could 'see' due to their nameplates showing as they had to be near the surface in order to interact with the node.

Another case of 'disappearing nodes' happens which is very odd. If you have the passive which allows you to see nodes from a distance they have that WOW-like sparkle/shimmer effect. I regularly come across plant nodes that aren't shimmering and the moment I 'harvest' them they vanish: and it's ALWAYS the moment I touch them, not before and after. That implies they're both there and no there at the same time.

thanks for bringing this up. if there is a problem, everybody shouts, if a problem is fixed, next to nobody mentiones it.

i haven't seen any bots for a long time, neither farming nor leveling bots and no bot trains. gold spam in chat and mails also stopped. if there are "underground" bots, i do not know and i do not care. they do not disturb my gaming experience which very much improved with the abscence of this annoying bots and spamers.

Actually they do, in several ways, but I won't spoil your misplaced sense of detachment.

You say "were", but your post above suggests they are still around. Are they? I saw some of these as well a couple of months ago, but I have not seen them for quite some time, nor have I been affected by their actions. If there are some bots, they are not having any noticeable impact on my gaming experience.

The grinding in Coldharbour that I have seen the past two days are legit players just getting points and are not bots. As for the disappearing nodes I have seen that. I think it is a server side issue with the game catching up. When there were bots all over the place, nodes would go poof everywhere non stop and you couldn't find anything. BUT with the free 30 days through Steam the nodes have been going poof more frequently and I am seeing level 3's in Coldharbour and other upper level areas.

Also yesterday in Glenumbra trying to do quests on my new alt there were trains of "players" killing everything that moved in a path again. I would venture to say that the free month sub has brought back the bots until their free time runs out. :(

    hey everyone,

i just wanted to say how a good job @zenimax is doing lately, i really love your game

    thank you

The game should have been held and released only when the console version, justice system, dark brotherhood, and thieves guild were ready. They really hurt themselves by putting an unfinished game on the shelf. It gets better day by day, but some previous players may never come back.

If you take this line of thinking then games would never launch. Oh look the DB and Thieves guild are in. Oh but wait there is now this we and players want, nope better delay the game again.

The game was finished when it launched. No game specially MMOs are bug free, or have all the content that people think they should have at launch

This game that is part of a long running series that has had a constant minimum of content. All games prior had these guilds and systems in place at launch. This game if part of the ES series should be held to that same standard. When you expect less you are accepting mediocrity. I am ok with bugs they happen in an mmo and can be easily patched. When I purchase an elder scrolls game I expect to have the 4 guilds at launch like the previous ones. I am a thief in a crimeless world where items hold no value. They also only included 2 classes, the NB and sorc, from the previous 23 available classes. then instead of choosing two more they made two completely new ones. They also didn't include any stamina based characters whatsoever, FYI NB is not a rogue they are different. I expect the standard and the bare minimum of what makes an ES game an ES game.

Link to what a NB class has been in all the past ES games

Actually there are bots all over the damn place.
Go to Kenarthis Roost or Auridon. Standing on the steps of Skywatch I just watched some bot blazing around in the sky.

They are still in delves, still in Coldharbour, still in newbie zones. Also they still send mail.

As for the underground thing, it's real. It's not a phase, if you get closer to the node you can see their tool coming out of the ground as they do their gathering animation. Plus you can hear them chopping or mining. If these are not present it is more than likely a phase thing and not a bot.
I got killed in pvp, nerf everything...

Yeah, this is the majority of the 'disappearing nodes' that I've seen recently. Obviously not a botter in that case.

Sorry, I think that while that would be great, it's also impossible from an economic viewpoint (i.e., you've got to start getting revenue at some point to support the programmers, otherwise you'll just run out of money). No MMO has ever been finished at launch.
