To the posts about spending 300k and the one about the guy's friend having 1million gold worth of gear: Bull$h1t.
You/they are doing it wrong. You got scammed hard by whoever sold you the mats.

So playing with different builds and using multiple legendary vr12 sets is doing it wrong? Wow I'm glad your not a dev because I certainly would not play a game made by u.
I see legendary materials go for as low as 2k sometimes, but it stands to reason that you can't always get that kind of a deal, so let's say 2.5k on average.slopezgamesub17_ESO1 wrote: »To the posts about spending 300k and the one about the guy's friend having 1million gold worth of gear: Bull$h1t.

Not that is not wrong at all. I simply cannot imagine using so much time acquiring that much gold just give it to another player who is asking too much for it.
This is entirely missing the point.timidobserver wrote: »You have a month to gather new mats. On top of that, the set changes are already available, so you can go ahead and start building your new set. There is no reason that anyone shouldn't be able to come up with the mats to make a full set of gear by August.

Changing some of the sets as they are is tantamount to just deleting the items from certain players.
If I just spent 200k+ outfitting my character, which is all of my gold, earning another 200k+ to do it again is not easy.dafraorb16_ESO wrote: »This game have the fastest and easy way to equip your character.

This is a very good idea.joram.somersb16_ESO wrote: »Another option to not completely antagonize players that just spend all their money on a legendary set that is now useless would be to allow a new option in the crafting stations.
An option to change an item's current set bonus to the one that the crafting station provides.
It could work much like the deconstruct option. You select an item, but instead of just being deconstructed you get another item instead which is exactly the same regarding level, racial style, trait, armor weight and armor quality and the set bonus of the station.
It can even have a cost of basic, racial and trait crafting materials for that matter, as long as it doesnt cost upgrade materials.
Implementation wise i would think this will be a lesser effort for them to inplement compared to a barter vendor ( for which they have nothing likewise yet).

players are so funny.
I don't know of anyone who asked for set bonuses to be made entirely different for the types of characters who would be wearing those set pieces currently with no form of reimbursement.xsorusb14_ESO wrote: »I personally love the title of this post

"Better set bonuses?" Yeah, I've heard people asking for that. But that's not anywhere near the same.
