I do agree it was probably because of the grind, but some people had a hard time soling, so they gave up.

While I was not an advocate for the 'nerf' I completely understand where ZOS is coming from. It makes business sense to cater to the larger crowd.
Yeah I noticed that. I also remember it being used as justification for the nerf when the qqing was going the other way pre patch. Just a shame all the people waited until after the nerf to find their voices. I always suspected that the "difficulty too hard" gang was a vocal minority....at least on this forum. Seems I might have been right.

The grind is easier to cope with if it doesn't involve so much running back from Wayshrines.

I like a challenging game.
That said, playing my Vet 8 Templar today, I felt like a hero again.
I felt powerful. I got to treat minions as the garbage that they are.
No longer do I need to beg a pack of mubcrabs for mercy!
I have to say I love the change. I didn't ask for it, but I do love it.
Thank you, ZOS.

.. Templar... soloing.. Hero?... Damn they nerfed the *** out of the VR Areas.

Prove to me they are the larger crowd. I know this forum isn't reflective of the larger player base but I never hear anyone in any of the 5 games I am in complaining that it was too easy and any polls here do seem to show the opposite.
While I could never prove that your side was in the minority neither can you. And I don't believe for a second that the reason the vet zones are empty is due to the difficulty. This will be proved when they are sill empty after the patch.

Log in and check out the VR zones now. It is not rocket science. People are happy with the change. People will finish their mains, finish alts. Those who are unhappy with this change to VR content are the vocal minority.

Is that the same info that had them scale the difficulty the way it was after 2 years in beta. You give them far too much credit. They are reacting to unsubs that had a myriad of reasons but this was the easiest thing they could think of.
I'll bet back to you with the proof next week when the vet zones are STILL EMPTY!

You seem to be under the impression I want to feed your delusions of doom.
Just get it over with and start screaming F2P!!!!

I'm sad to see ESO being nerfed for the hero crowd. Got my lead through to the Fighter's Guild end at level 36. I'll run my level 34 vampire witch through the end later today, she hits harder than my lead, although she is much more fragile.
My army is still leveling nicely and my level 20 vampire DK just cruised the Retrieve Abner quest. My first to not die at all there. It seemed pretty good but I know they already nerfed that.

You mean the way you screamed how bad the game will be days before the patch, or how you screamed how bad the patch is 5 minutes after the game came up without giving it a chance.
Lore and Story. defeating Daedric Prince is an achievement of godly proportions. literally.I hate the term 'trash' mobs? Who's to say those NPCs aren't the AI equivalent of you or I?

Please show me a quote saying anything about a nerf. I dare you. You will not find one.
I have never asked for a nerf, ever. I have never asked for the combat to be easier.
You barked up the wrong tree.

I said you LOT meaning the ones who couldn't manage the difficulty. Find one where I have ever said L2P
