Because they had to walk up the hill backwards, on one leg, in a pink tutu, while it was snowing, with a blindfold on, with grandma on their shoulders, so everyone has to do it that way, or their willys will shrink.
Or pick up a staff, don a robe and aoe *** down :P
But I agree. This was NOT the way to fix it. Of course fixing things properly (adding a story arc with quests and VO, modifying existing quests, providing meaningful character advancement and itemization, balancing stam/mag builds, etc.) would require actual work and quite some dev time so... this is what we get.Edited by khele23eb17_ESO on July 7, 2014 7:17PMP2P offered you 'hell yeah!' moments. Hey, thanks for lumping us all into your prejudice man! It really means a lot!
What I have said sometimes may seem condescending and L2P, but my intentions have always been to try to encourage not belittle. It's amazing how hard it is to present that with text. Especially since the reader can put any tone to what he/she is reading, thus creating a bias.
You know what I have been doing in the month since I reached v12? Helping others through vet quests, traveling back to vet zones to help people (anyone who asks for it in chat) with bosses, dolmens, etc. I've beat em all, but I'll do it again to help someone out.
With text communication being what it is, people on any forum take things misconstrued, tempers flare. Those who have been posting a long time start to get ornery, or stop padding their posts. And even then, when they try to be actually helpful, people take it as either snide, or trolling.
If you are reading this with the wrong tone, I'm somewhat irked.
(Not offended, never offended... Lol)
Anyways, there are other forums you can go to for help with a problem.
And now I will end this with by wishing you and your friends the best, have a great time in tamriel!

I too spend a large amount of my time helping others in game, and out of it, I rolled a healer alt just so I could help others.
That disabled friend I mentioned, I pulled the bike out of the garage for a 40 mile 2am ride to her house just to get her past a healer mob blocking a coridor to a boss.
Sad fact is that there's too many "I'm alright jocks" who like to feel superiour and are incapable of considering others when they post.1 -

Mortosk✭✭✭✭I think that the VR content was nerfed way too hard and should be readjusted. Please stop this 33 to 50% nerf and bring it back to a more normal 5 or 10% nerf. This is absolutely insane and totally ruining the game.
What is worst is that no one from zenimax has responded ever since we found out how hard the nerf was. I was always hopeful the game would get well at some point, but this is making me lose faith very very quickly. I am just sick and tired of the fact that we get 1.no information 2.lies (there would just be a readjustment that would still keep the game challenging) 3.no responses to complaints 4.it takes WAY too long to fix. And yes about point 4 I understand it's hard, but there are way too many problems that get fixed way too slowly and most likely the vr content problems we have now will never be fixed either.
Please please do something about it, I am just sick and tired of the fact that the wrong decisions are made constantly.
You know they can't really nerf something by just 10%, silly.

I am still VR 6 and I was moderatly struggling through VR content, that's why I am all for a slight nerf of 5 to 15% which I would deem 'more appropiate'. But 33% to 50% is too much, it makes the game extremely boring and it turns veteran rank into another 1-50 of which the difficulty was so low that it wasn't enjoyable.
VR content pre-nerf was already boring and to die more easily with crappy loot and exp pissed off a lot of players. THis is needed.

Another aspect is, that you guys lack respect and tolerance towards others. Nobody demanded that the 1-50 content is made harder, they tolerated that this is where you play. So why do you come to this forum and demand that their playground is destroyed?

Anastasia✭✭✭✭now now, remain calm. If it is over tweaked they can take good data based observations from players and tweak it the other way. All this hysteria is not doing the devs any good. Provide good data and backup. Would be nice to hear from players that quit VR due to the difficulty and see how they feel about the patch. to me that would be the best indicator of if its been over tweaked

This is good news!!! Although I would have preferred that they kept the difficulty the same and nerfed 33% of the XP needed to level. But hey now I can mow through mobs faster so hopefully leveling will be faster as well. At least they're trying new things guys. The Vet levels suffer due to people not finding groups and the grind is waaaaaaaaay too long. WOW is still around cause they cater to carebears. Just like GW2, Tera you name it...games for hard core players have gone the way of the doodoo bird.3

bluesodafizz✭✭✭I gotta say, I think the "nerf" is a good thing in this case. It brought me back to try and play (after I read about the change in the patch notes)and I actually like it way better. Things don't always have to be hard to be fun, especially for people like me who want to focus more on the story line and lore than my characters abilities and skills.
I get that it's not everyone's cup of tea, but hey...if the game is too hard for casual people to enjoy it then the subscriptions will end and we wont ever get new content.5 -

But as even those that wanted the content nerfed would tell you, in a group of 2 VR was already easy. So for them to quit over the difficulty implies you were never playing together anyway, so...
