We're gimp. We're healers which are the traditional summoners. Give us the ability to summon players please. Please & Thanx :D

    We need better magicka management to be sure.. but summon would be awesome! Didn't say we need it.. it's a function that doesn't currently exist in ESO but is common in MMO's and should.... and we are the class that should get it....

    Please dear Talos S'rendarr almighty, no. The sorcerer summons are annoying enough, I wouldn't be able to handle more of those things.

    Templars don't need any kind of summoning, what they need is (as @p_tsakirisb16_ESO‌ said) better magicka management.

    Sorcerer summons PVE crap.. I'm talking about being able to summon other players.. This skill is common in MMOs

    Summon other players in what context? Are you suggesting we just pull random players out of thin air and have them help us? Or maybe you can only summon group members (if so, isn't that what the "travel to player" function is for?)?

    If Talos isn't born yet, then how come Cyrodil isn't a jungle currently? It only got turned temperate like it is now by Talos using CHIM to change it.

    If Talos isn't born yet, then how come Cyrodil isn't a jungle currently? It only got turned temperate like it is now by Talos using CHIM to change it.

    Not thin air.. ever heard of Almsivi or Divine intervention??? this suggestion only applies to Cyrodiil... give Templar ability to summon another player... 3-6 minute cool-down is perfect way to balance it.

    Now that would be a novel and interesting idea to see in an MMO. Anyone who knows the card game "Munchkin" knows and positively loves the card Kneecaps of Allure, making another player help you against their will.

    And with all that discussion going on about "failed encouragement to group" (devs' pov) a.k.a. "forced grouping" (players' pov), this would be an ideal solution: those who want to group can do so without hustle and wait times; those who don't are finally forced to see the goodness of it all (it's for their own good, really).

    Necromancers, Warlocks are traditional summoners, Then maybe Mage/Sorcerer would be next, then at a stretch of the imagination Healers !

    technically lore wise it would be the Sorcerers who get it due to DAEDRIC SUMMONING ;)

    Um, no, in Tamriel any mage could summon a Daedra, and Sorcerors are definately mage based. Templars don't need summons, they can fight quite well enough as it is.

    Couldn't have said it better myself.

    There would have to be a LFS (looking for summon) tool, and the other player would have to agree to be summoned, in order for it to be as grief-free as possible.

    But even then, if you're in battle, there's no guarantee they'll arrive on time, or even accept your plea in the first place. It's just a bad idea altogether.

    I wouldn't say a player summons spell like in other mmos, but a portal spell would fit in with the game. So many of the npc's use it, why can't the players? Of course those npc's appear to be sorcs...

    Templars need better magika management first, imo, than more gimmicks. I would like to see something like gain x or % magika with every player healed, or +% magika regen for each heal power (or any Templar power) slotted, etc...

    Traditionally player summons in other mmo's is a voluntary way of traveling vast distances and assisting with gathering together for groups. I cannot recall a single mmo where it was not voluntary.

    I'm not talking about summoning Daedra!!! DUH! I don't even think classes should exists from a lore standpoint but don't get me started on that!

    I'm saying that since Templars are the healing class (ergo gimp DPS class) they should be able to summon other players. Remove classes and of course summoning other players would belong to a CLASS-LESS Conjuration skill line. In the current game, Sorcerers are the only ones given that skill line and are too overpowered to give it to!!!

    Hey, I didn't make up ESO.. imo Templar's are an abomination that don't exist in Tamriel except in their dev minds (DAoC minds)... I can't help it that some outside dev team is making the game rather than Bethesda.... The fact is they are now in game and we have to deal with it!! Templars are the healer archetype....

    Templar is not a healing class.

    NO *** SHURLOCK! But these ESO Dev's think they are and have made it so in the game so I'm using their playbook!

    Templars are the most obvious choice for healing, but Nightblades can be just as effective, albeit they work a bit differently.

    Although, no class is really a "healing class", because anyone with a restoration staff can try their hand.

    Are u serious? How bout "You cannot jump within the same campaign".

    Is it not obvious that this suggestion relates to Cyrodiil??? If so, I'm sorry.. I'm suggesting this for Cyrodiil!
