Summon other players in what context? Are you suggesting we just pull random players out of thin air and have them help us? Or maybe you can only summon group members (if so, isn't that what the "travel to player" function is for?)?Sorcerer summons PVE crap.. I'm talking about being able to summon other players.. If Talos isn't born yet, then how come Cyrodil isn't a jungle currently? It only got turned temperate like it is now by Talos using CHIM to change it.

Necromancers, Warlocks are traditional summoners, Then maybe Mage/Sorcerer would be next, then at a stretch of the imagination Healers !
In your defence I agree the ability to summon group members would be a nice addition, worked well in other MMOs.
We need better magicka management to be sure.. but summon would be awesome! Didn't say we need it.. it's a function that doesn't currently exist in ESO but is common in MMO's and should.... and we are the class that should get it....

since Shadowbane (2002).... only healer base can summon other players in that game.. summoning minions/pets doesn't count
Summoning other players on a class that can't DPS or has the lowest DPS (pure healer in other games, Templar in ESO) is logical and was normal...

Not thin air.. ever heard of Almsivi or Divine intervention??? this suggestion only applies to Cyrodiil... give Templar ability to summon another player... 3-6 minute cool-down is perfect way to balance it.

The point was, in groups it's not needed, out of groups it's random griefing. Imagine your playing along doing a quest, and pow, you get summoned to help a random Templar (in your faction obviously). I myself would probably walk away and leave the induhvidual who ruined my gaming to die.

Um, no, in Tamriel any mage could summon a Daedra, and Sorcerors are definately mage based. Templars don't need summons, they can fight quite well enough as it is.

I do not think that they think that templars are healers.
NO *** SHURLOCK! But these ESO Dev's think they are and have made it so in the game so I'm using their playbook!
How would "summoning players" in any way be better or more efficient than just using the existing feature to "travel to" a player in your group or guild?
