    whats broken with enchanting as is?Was it hit by the QQ train? I alphad this game and reported in a variety of threads that they needed to make it level more appropriately with your current levels.

    No one listened.

    Nothing was done.

    Now that I have gone through the grueling leveling process they're gonna make it easier??..now?

    whats broken with enchanting as is?
    What's broken is that a couple of the levels (can't remember which) require far more inspiration to complete than the devs intended. They're way out of line with the levels before and after them. But no, let's not fix the bug because the OP doesn't want the gold that he spent real money on to have gone to waste.

    I still haven't seen a link or anything referencing any enchanting changes. Is this just a rumor?

    It makes leveling it less frustrating. AFAIK they aren't planning on doing any other changes, but I haven't really kept up to date on it.

    It seems to me that my Enchanting is leveling considerably slower than any of the other crafting skills. It’s come to my attention that it could be because deconstruction of items includes greens/blues with Blacksmithing, Woodworking, and Clothing. I also noticed more experience in Alchemy than Enchanting. Is it meant for Enchanting to be harder than other crafting skills?Moe Amleh

    We’re aware that Enchanting takes the longest to progress through out of all of our crafting skills. In a future update, we’ll be making some balance tweaks to inspiration for Enchanting to bring its progression rates more in line with the other skills.

    I don't know. Enchanting was my primary craft, and it wasn't that hard once I found people to trade and decon with. I'm fine with them smoothing some levels out. It's all speculation at this point, but OP might be right to freak out. Zenimax has made huge changes where only small tweaks were needed in the past. Enchanting is a challenge, but that just makes it more rewarding for people who level it. If it gets to the point where people can power level it to 50 in less than a week, I'll be pretty angry I even wasted my time. I didn't spend any gold on this craft, just a lot of time. Now I get paid in gold, mats, and gear to make glyphs. Making any of the crafts easier just steers this game more towards a single player game. It's not at all good for an MMO where people are supposed to interact and rely on each other.

    It seems math isn't a strong point of yours.

    If the skill recovers 1/3 of missing health (MISSING health, not maximum) IT CAN NEVER FULLY HEAL, EVER, it's mathematically impossible!

    Please, learn elementary school math before making silly statements like that!

    I want them to make it easier, and also agree that the players who made it to level 50 Enchanting deserves and award. What say you @ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌ ?

    so glad they are doing this for runecrafting, its stupid that in order to gain the most experience you have to deconstruct someones elses stuff. i have an alt with the same level of runecrafting as my main. the alt hasnt left starter zone or searched or crafted or did anything but deconstruct glyphs my main farmed back to her. wheres the skill and work in that?

    There isn't any. You shouldn't be able to use alts for xp boosting.

    Sigh. They're not doing anything to enchanting. They fixed ONE LEVEL that was borked, and required more xp than the next level, at around 25-30 somewhere. That's it. Stop being chicken littles.

    If it's so easy for you to make legitimate gold, then why cry? Easy come, easy go. MMOs are not known for staying broken just so early birds can feel leet.

    (still cant wrap my brain around why the biggest tank class has the biggest heal in game, and why the highest hitting ranged mage also has the highest damage execute, isn't there a healer class and an assassin class..?)

    I haven't got millions, barely afforded my horse this week, the 17K one not the 42K. Enchanting and alchemy are the slowest hardest to crafts to level. Even when you get to the point where you learn all the runes/plants.

    Alchemy is worse tbh, but Enchanting is still bad.

    Which is why they have to change it. Forget about people in the endgame having loads of money. We should be to level it as we progress through the game. I haven't made much of a dent in it.

    Blacksmithing, clothing and Woodworking, Ive made decent progress in, still have a long way to go, but it's getting there. Provisioning is easy to level. I don't want enchanting and Alchemy to be as easy as provisioning, but they should show some progress for our efforts.

    joke right? :s I made like 200 lvl 10-30 hp potions, it cost me maybe 10k to get 50 alchemy in 5 mins,

    I'm not buying ingredients, my money isn't that much, and I'm sure as hell not wasting 10K on alchemy. It's a nice skill line, but their are far better things to be spending 10K on. If you are spending that kind of cash, of course you are going to raise the skill fast, I'll bet if I spent 10K on blacksmithing I'ld be level 50.

    People having too much cash is a seperate issue to people trying to level up a craft by playing through the game, collecting resources, and crafting.

    diminishing returns? u cast 1-2 and ur full hp already, take a potion, ur full everything, and whoever was attacking u is already dead. explain the logic?

    Dead from what? Me using dragon blood? It does no damage, so how can my attacker get killed by that?
