Favorite NPC In TESO?

Sheogorath is bar none the greatest NPC in any game, ever. Absolutely hilarious and actually menacing all at once.

However, I also have to post the worst NPC of all time. I wont say his name, just what he says, mostly because I have now heard this line over a thousand times.

BELIEVE WHAT YOU LIKE, I AM HAPPY THINGS HAVE CALMED DOWN THERE, WHATEVER THE CAUSE.

There is the guy in Cheydinhal who like to roll around in fertilizer rather than take his monthly bath. But then again, there is Ofglog, whose body is found northwest of the Forsaken Hamlet in Shadowfen (the region of Black Marsh nearest to Morrowind). Next to his body is a journal with the following entries:

The day has come! I will cast my spell in front of the entire stronghold. Shakul has promised that I may help her in the forge if my spell impresses her. A little theatrics, a few words, then up to the top of the longhouse! It won't be long now.

That didn't go quite as planned. I am currently moving at a high rate of speed through the air... well above the highest mountain ranges I can see from this height. I don't recognize any of the terrain. Wait, I think I am descending. I hope I can remember that easy-landing spell that the master taught me.

My favorites would be Shalidor (Lol for his voice! ) and Jarkan (love that gorgeous scoundrel! )
and of course Sheogorath!

I love how many of the Skyrim voice actors make an appearance! For me, an NPC's voice can be the difference between whether I like them or not!

Naryu Virian - I absolutely love her. Ran through and encountered her for the first time on my VR main, and now re-doing her quests on a new alt. I sincerely hope to see more of this character in the future.

Cadwell - No question. He's fantastic. Having John Cleese do his voice is pure gold. Who ever thought up casting him to voice this character deserves a significant raise and a rather nice cookie.

Raz - If you don't like Raz there is something wrong with you.

Ayrenn - Having played all three factions, she's by far the classiest of the leaders. On the risk of sounding like an RP'er, I actually liked helping this character out. I found I really cared what happened to her. And the fact she is designed utterly gorgeous doesn't hurt either.

Abnur Tharn - You have to love this guy's arrogant wit.

Laurant and Stibbons - They do have some rather comical encounters. Particularly the twighlight that wants to have her way with Stibbons. Such a manimal that Stibbons is.

Various random insults from the guards are priceless such as "So you're the one who saved the queen aye??? You don't look that special..."

I do feel one of the strongest aspects of this game is it's NPC creation/writing and strength of characters. I don't care it's only a handful of the same voice actors... they did great, and yes Mr. Gladiator, I am very entertained.

Naryu Virian is my fave so far. Kickass female assassin, yes please. Despite possibly liking Raz's voice actor more, I like her dialog better.

I hope - hope - hope they introduce alliance specific factions (that can be gotten on all characters through veteran content) and that they decide to make EPs faction the Morag Tong instead of the companions.

I really liked Jakarn, Crafty Lerisa, Majoll, Lambur, and King Emeric. The Daggerfall Covenant story was well-crafted for an MMO. Sheogorarth was fun but I really wish he was more like the Daggerfall Sheogorath instead of the Skyrim one.

I like how some of "the usual suspects" appear throughout your career. People from the Nooby islands who you helped and helped you show up throughout your adventures... becoming heroes, and at least in noteable 1 case a villain, many eventually ending up in Cold harbor.

Naryu, always naryu, I have absolutely no idea who voices that character, but she could speak to me for the rest of my days, I'd die happy.Also shes Dunmer(the master race if ever there was one) & Morag Tong to boot.With some of the best scripted and humorous lines i've come across in all content(huge bias not withstanding!!).
To be fair though to the writers, there is an abundant wealth of well written/defined npc's within this game, and they surely deserve the plaudits & accolades.As someone else stated even the little montages are great(re: the khajiit -real live dog, always worth a stop off in mistral for that one when i got nothing better to do or just fancy a smile).
After that the usual suspects, Sheogorath,Tharn,Cadwell the list goes on and on, thank the eight,more importantly thank Azura.
There are some first rate gems of humour, I pity those who don't read or listen to the quests, they truly have sold themselves short and missed some great moments.

There are many funny NPCs in ESO. Most will probably say some of the more prominent main characters, but I prefer to enjoy the little things.

So far my most memorable favorite is Ildani. She's such a tease. Made me not sure whether I wanted the gold or that... other thing

Actually, we germans get some really great NPC-Voices in ESO. You have to know that hollywood actors always have the same german voice actors. For example: Bruce Willis always sounds the same in all his movies. While almost noone knows these voice actors by face, many recognize their voices.

Zenimax did a really great job in finding german voice actors for the NPCs in ESO. There are many voices a german will easily recognize. A few examples:

King Emeric sounds like the german Liam Neeson.
The Prophet is Christopher Lee.
Mannimarco is Nicolas Cage.
Cadwell is John Cleese.
Jorunn the Skald-King is Hugo Weaving.

The list goes on. Important NPCs are voiced by well-known german voice actors.

I usually prefer to play my games in english because the voice-acting tends to better. Not so in ESO. I switched from german to english and back again...
