Naryu has to be one of the most well written little cheeky characters, love her to pieces.

Even thou I love Jennifer Hale as a voice actress, her role felt flat except for the line.

"Tharn, you have to be the ugliest princess I've ever rescued" PERFECT line. props for that.

Razum-dar is awesome as hell. And I like some of Abnur Tharn's lines.

The voice actor that does Sheogorath is the same man that has been voicing him since Oblivion... They didn't replace him.

I never followed quests, but the main quest in daggerfall, i found that rly awesome with bill neighly ( whatever ) as the king.. Also very cool story..

And also the Daggerfall vampire quest story

uhm i hate lady clarissa and stibbons is dumb and a servant... but i will keep rescueing him from his ladys evil deeds. SM isnt in my personal selection for paradise, actually the exclusion of sado masochism is in my personal selection of paradise

Also Uncle Sheo (still giggling about "Shelly Dorable") and Cadwell ("you look well for someone ... uhm deficient in the soul department").

And there was some Nord whom I had to convince to play nice with the other pact members, who told me "maybe we make you Thane of Whiterun, I've heard they take everyone".

As for flirty male characters of questionable morals, there is always Jakarn.

I'm only VR3 or so. Playing DC.

From what I've seen... Really awesome NPCs:
1. Jakarn
2. Crafty Lerisa
3. Nicolene. All from the first 2 locations. Jakarn is just awesome. Lerisa says pretty funny phrases. And Nicolene... It's just the hottest female voice ever
4. Darien Gautier. He disappeared after the final quest. Hopefully, he didn't die and we'll see him again. And you know, he'll be a good guy still so we can do quests with him. There should be A LOT of Darien, really. He's awesome, and his lines were funny.
5. Companions were all cool except for Sai Sahan. Too bad we all sacrificed different ones, so perhaps, we won't see them again, unless Akatosh/Meridia brings the sacrificed one back.

That's it so far. In AD I only somewhat liked razumdar... Not that he's cool, but he's the only NPC that I can remember. Oh! And also that funny Skeleton in Grahtwood. Forgot his name, the one who used to be Destroyer.

Wait, how come Darien hasn't been mentioned in like very first posts?=O He's awesome. Such a great break from all the louad pathetic stuff about saving the world and all...I mean, I get it, we're heroes saving the world, but someone bringing a little light-hearted humour in is always welcome=P And he's a lot more than that under all that fun talk.

Not really a favorite NPC but General Endare. The quest fight specifically. Wasn't really expecting that kind of mechanic in a solo quest. It scored Zenimax a ton of brownie points.

But the second time I rolled through was with my DK so I didn't pay attention to the mechanics at all. Glad the first time was on my NB though.

Sheogorath irritates... he's over the top, I might have liked him when I was ten. Granted, he gets some good lines,

Random mook : "My soul is on Fire! My soul is on Fire!"
Sheo : "Don't forget to light the brazier! Don't Forget to light the .... never mind, idiot!"

But please, please give us more Haskill



His delivery is dryer than a packet of silica gel, dryer than a bottle of isopropyl alcohol..

Queen Ayrenn is just lovely, i'd do anything for her, I sometimes think her people don't deserve her.

Oh and honourable mention to that cook NPC at the Altmer embassy in Grahtwood. "No, no, no ! Not good enough ! It's not just bad, it's disgusting!"

Hearing his nonstop hissy fit had me in stitches the moment I entered that building. Best voice acting in the ENTIRE game, is he inspired by TV chef Gordon Ramsay by any chance?

For random NPCs worthy of notice I'd vote for the Khajiit in Elder Root trying to convince the Bosmer girl that the situation was so disastrous that they're making houses out of mudcrabs...

Something about the way he says "Belieeeve what you want!" cracks me up

As for quest NPCs and only naming the ones I've already met, I agree with most here: Razum-Dar, Ayrenn, Tharn, Emeric.

A pox upon you for taking my choices. Outside of those 2... I would say most NPC that are not Altmer. This game has done 2 major thinkgs for me: Made me want a Valenwood TES game and made me despise Altmer mentality more and more. Even many of the "good" Altmer are highly racist.
