Vampire/WW Bite Sellers

My comment was directed more at the constant camping of the spawns by those who just want to keep the numbers down. I do not assume that every single person selling bites is a selfish brat anymore than you would assume that every person giving bites away for free does so while wearing tye-died light armor and preaching the values of free love.

I don't really hold it against people that charge, but I never will myself. I've been fortunate enough to get both lycanthropy and vampyrism on a whim for free, and it seems silly to charge for it in light of that. To me it's no different than helping someone with a quest as it in no way takes anything away from me.

    Thats pretty explicit, isn't it?

Actually that was sarcasm leading up the implication that the practice stems from simple greed, which it does. You can argue as to whether or not greed in and of itself is a bad (my view should be clear) but that much at least is true for either side of the argument.

If you want to be offended anyway, feel free.

Sorry, didn't pick up the sarcasm; especially because it is somehow your point :stuck_out_tongue:

And now your offending me again for saying that i am nothing more than "greedy". That is far too black and white. Where does greed start? When selling collected items to the NPC instead of giving them away for free? It is not about if greediness is bad.. It is about where greediness starts.

I am sure, i am the opposite of greedy. Just gave my wife 30000 Gold so that she can buy a horse. But i want a horse too, and that's why i am selling Werewolf infections...

You claim to differentiate, so do it :)

From all the selling of the bites and whatnot in reapers march I thought it would be incrediby hard to contract vampirism nthrough normal gameplay, but it's actually incredibly easy... got the disease in the march without actually even trying :p

once I get the passive I will be offering to bite ppl for free.. problem is you can only bite once every 7 days and currently the ppl offering free bites are vastly outnumbered by the ppl selling the bites.

That's why we need more people offering free bites. I was bitten for free by a guildie and will be offering my bite freely as well once my character acquires that ability.
RIP Atherton, my beautiful little gentle friend. I will miss you forever. Without you I am a hollow shell.

It's not difficult to make enough money for what I need/want - I'm not greedy and besides... I like making more of my kind! :D

I bought two different bites on characters and Im glad that I did. I actually went looking to find a seller. If I sit and camp the spawns night after night or if I spend time grinding gold either way its my time invested into the game and I still earned what I paid for. Bites are free you say? Sure they are if you go and camp the spawn. Who says anyone should give any of their stuff away for free? It is their character their time and money spent to do with what they want if you dont want to buy it then dont. There is the freedom to buy or sell within this digital market make your choice then move on and enjoy the time you invest into this game.

    There is zero guarantee.

Read the many threads on various ESO sites about how people are being scammed into paying 20k+ for a bite and the seller taking the gold and not going through.

Unless you're friends with the seller or know them well, I wouldn't risk it.

Why would you have to camp the spawn points? confused24.gif

The spawn interval is well known, just go there when they actually spawn ...

Oh, as a tip for those, who want to get infected from world mobs...
I used this addon, it displays the ingame time with the moon phase, and i liked it so much i still have it running:

Afair, there was an addon with a countdown, but that was too technically for me...
