The GMs are hunting Bots

I had a GM tell the zone that he was hunting Bots and to whisper him if we see any. Lol that is awesome, I wish I could be there to see the Banhammer come down.

lol wish I was there to see that would have made me day, next we have to go hunting the gm to to see him in action, perhaps they can have a open night meet up time tea and biscuits , I bring the Jaffa cakes

wouldn't it be awesome if the GM had some kind of super ability weaponskill which obliterates the bot on impact as well as banning account, i would definately be on the front row seats to watch that show, ~GM comes stalking through the public dungeon, spies the mob of bots camping boss spawn, KABLAMMO!!! huge fireball/rift vaporises the lot of them, huge cheer for GM and he vanishes into the night stalking more prey in the form of goldspamming RMT bots....

I think some of the gold spammers are getting fatigued with how often they have to create new characters to spam their gold messages. Saw one with an actual name implying anyone complaining was a female dog.... <G>

There was another thread with pics of an actual GM in a dungeon and I beleive he said something along the lines of " If you aint a bot back off 'cuz I'm about to nuke the ever loving crap out of them." I might be paraphrasing a bit but that was the general idea

100% Agreed. I'm glad they have wandered out into the wilds to deliver that sweet, sweet justice. I hope they are able to see the evildoers regardless of what phase they are hiding in.

That's nice and all, but had you already heard about Rajhin's Mantle? Apparently, it was discovered at the Falinesti Winter Site!



Anyway, last night, I was actually inside an Oblivion gate for a quest in Rivenspire, and a ton of L2s with bot names kept spawning and dying in lava. Maybe they actually WERE being sent to Oblivion...? Or maybe someone's bot program had just freaked out. It was actually kind of funny, whatever was going on!

I sat for roughly 30 minutes or so in lions run the other night watching swarms of 3-4 mulitboxed bots run screaming into the middle of the camps only to die hilariously shortly there after. Like I literally while stealthed high up on a hill side /sit, and /clap every time they died whilst munching an apple IRL. One of my favorite moments in ESO so far.

This one hopes that the GM look for "spam" as a category in the bug / reports and act upon them. Khajiit spotted couple of bots the other day (yesterday) and reported them. k9mouse did not see the GM message...

To take a real world idea:
To deter crime, they have marked policed car drive around the hood and would be law breakers will see them. It helps to stop crime before it starts.

It is like the GM can be seen by the Gold farmers will be more careful, if the GM is not seen the gold farmers will be more bold. It is good that GM's are being seen!

I was in one of the Coldharbour dungeons when this was announced, but we had our own solution. This was a dungeon where the boss spawned near lava, so we'd pull the boss into lava and let the lava kill it. The bots are so stupid that they would just repeatedly run into the lava and die. You could watch them run back and forth into the lava attempting to loot the boss and dying. It was quite funny. I know some people said they were going to record it and put it up on YouTube.

Actually as a Khajiit running on four ES games now, I can tell you that that is perfectly normal for Khajiit conversation. NPC Khajiit do it. "This one ...(stuff)... Meet me...(stuff)." They are horribly inconsistent, which in my opinion is half the fun. After hearing some of the dialogue about their religious beliefs and what they tell other races about them it wouldn't surprise me if they do it just to mess with people.

Since when is 10+ bots standing in a circle at every boss NPC, or doing the "NPC town kill train", or better yet 20+ people in prison rags falling from the sky, landing on a resource node and using "/stuck" and returning 5 minutes later in 10, 20, even level 30 zone with level 4's elusive?

Are the GM's going to the open world now or are they still just in the pvp area?

Are the GM's just killing the bots or are they putting a restriction on the accounts they belong to?

All the previous screen shots and storys simply say the GM's kill's the bots, leaves, bots auto rez, back to business as normal so nothing is really getting done here.

Also it really took 3 weeks to finally get around to doing this, right around time to start warming up the monthly credit card charge cycle?

It's not a true hotkey bar, it's a quickslot shortcut bar. You press the bound key, to equip the item into your quickslot, then press Q to use it. The mod is called Greymind Quick Slot Bar.

ChatMultiWindow is the other.

Also, X4DChat is the one that gives me Character@Player in guild chat. I wish more people would use that so they'd stop calling me by my account name, hah.

From this Khajiit's understanding -- they do not use 1st person single words as the subject. (Like the word "I" ) It is ok to use 1st person single words as the direct object (like the word "me")

They can use 1st person plural words as the subject ("We") or gender-less words like "It" (ie "It is still talking")

Khajiit race prefer to use terms like: This one, their name, Khajiit, plural words.

ZOS made this mistake a LOT by using the word "I" in their dialog both as the NPC talk and the answer that the player gives back if the player is playing a Khajiit. That mistake bugs this Khajiit to no end! -.-

Khajiit do not have a view of "self" that is why they talk in 3rd person. Also, why they do not understand that "stealing" is so bad. Stuff belongs to everyone. Khajiit race's view of "self" is very different how the rest of the races think.

Thank you for the clarification. My only info is in game, and as you said, they do that all over in this game. Do you have any links to anywhere with detailed info on Khajiit-speak? I can find history and religion and all that...but none of the wikis mention language.

This one has over 500 steam group members that is focus on the Khajiit race in any TES game (1 - 5) and ESO. The group is called "Khajiit Lovers" (see sig for a direct link)

Also, we have a guild in ESO called "Power of the Black Paw" that is Khajiit focus, but any faction / race can join. We are PVE, PVP, crafting, trading guild. We will be putting our paws into everything in ESO as we grow. PM me on the forums or ingame for an invite.
