shield bash should be an interrupt only, It shouldn't be the hardest hitting skill in the game

This is what I'm saying....one handed is a bad skill line once you take bash away.....personally deep slash and pierce needs to be amped, or it needs to be reworked to have dramatically higher defense. I'm already loving using the two handed tree on my main....so much more damage if you know what you're doing. Spamming shield bash is incredibly boring imo. I wish the stamina abilities just did much more damage like all the other trees. The bleed on two handed is cool.

I know ransack has a fairly powerful morph where you can take away ...
"40% armour ?" but the amount of stamina it drains to damage it does is really low, outside of using it once per enemy per encounter its not that great.
Sweeping strike is not that great, it only effect weapon damage "?" so generally only viable on enemies that wield a weapon. I have seen no vast improvement using it even on those that do have weapons, when i respecced i ignored it completely.
The two shield skills are lackluster ... Outside of the 2 second stun on the FINAL (generally should be most powerful skill) skill its terrible, really it's that bad.
Deadly bash is what holds the One hand and Shield line together without it there is no reason to spec into it at all .... You can make a two handed weapon with Defending Trait (Armour and spell resistance percent) and be equal, if not better off than holding a shield.
Overall the One hand and Shield line consumes far, far to much stamina for damage and/or rewards that i am seeing less and less players using it after the novelty wears off ....
Once you discover the Defending trait on a two handed weapon or on a single handed weapon there is just no need for a Sword and Shield build when even a dual wield can match your defense gain, while both these lines leaves your damage looking at the floor wondering WTF.
You can say well its a tank line .... it's really not .... ever seen someone take a shield to the face ?
In my personal opinion from what I have observed so far in game....these players can destroy mobs easily. I see two handed specs soloing final group dungeons all the time with no problem. They hit way to hard and often and should be nerfed.
Also rangers do WAY to much damage and they can snare you for far to long imo they're way OP and need to be nerfed. This is broken.
Mages last but not least are the worst....they do way to much AoE damage and can destroy large zergs and large groups of mobs well above their level by spamming their AoE spells. They're way to OP.
EDIT: ALSO One handed needs to be able to do MUCH more DPS, or be able to protect for more damage. I think shield protection should be increased by at least x3.
in general terms, a ranger is just a build meant for long range combat, focusing on precision strikes, stealth, and evasion of magical attacks.Im still confused. Whats a Ranger ?

It's my second lowest hitting stamina skill....it hits for 220......pierce hits for 214....deep hits for 235+.....btw they can all be spammed. Two hander power attack(at level 15 two handed) hits for 350, and takes no stamina.
Coming from someone who has used all the melee skills trees.....It should hit and it should hit hard to even the game out.
I think this game is perfectly balanced now on second thought.
