I've gotten all the non-starting island cheevs but Shadowfen. I really hope they revise the lake spot placement and spawn times in 1.3. I shouldn't have to search the entire map for a spot after I've dried one up, especially when the map is mostly swamp with all kinds of possibilities for spots.

@Shennynerd when did you achieve the Deshaan one? I noticed the foul water there seems to be missing now after a patch. Wondering if it's my bad luck or you achieved that a while back.

The foul water rares can also be found in the other water types.

Have them all now, thanks for the help! Although I did manage to find a foul water spot close to the Ghost Snake area, only one and it didn't spawn again after I used it up.

All fishing related updates from the 1.3.3 Patch Notes

• Increased the rate at which the lake water fishing nodes in Shadowfen will appear.
• The achievements Catching Trophy Fish will now update the associated achievements properly.

Has anybody caught the rare for Stros M'Kai on the EU server?

Critters no longer seem to be dropping Crawlers, anyone able to find some that can?

All critter mobs no longer seem to drop Guts or Crawlers.

They still drop crawlers and guts, but atm you need a low level character (max lvl 3) to loot critters.

Thanks for the info. I did see them post in another thread it's not an intended change and will be fixed in a later patch.

Anyone know if the Stonefalls Akaviri Wrasse (Blue Ocean Fish) can be caught since patch 1.3.3? have used over 600 worms and caught over 50 of the green fish still with no luck. Only fish i need to get Pact Angler Achievement.

It took me months to get that one. The hardest I had to catch, bad luck is bad luck me thinks.

Starter islands are all working. Coldharbor is still screwed sideways. The 8 bottom fish on the list are the same as the 8 bottom fish for Reaper's March.

Catch them in Reaper's March, get credit in Coldharbor.

First 4 are non-existant.

Have, however caught bichir, cavefish, venomfish, azure eel, and another llveslwefish.....that aren't on any lists anywhere while fishing in Coldharbor.

Since I've caught 5 green fish in Coldharbor that aren't on the list, I think I should get credit for the Coldharbor fishing.

I was just about to cast my line in Bal Foyen, decided to check the related achievement and noticed there does not appear to be an available fishing achievement in Bal Foyen for me. Is it just me missing this or others as well? It doesn't make sense if there is no Bal Foyen fishing achieve since all the other starter zones have one (including Bleakrock) and, more importantly, why else would there be fishing holes in this zone?

For Coldharbor

The first 4 fish in your list are the blue ones and they can only be caught in Coldharbor. The green ones 5-12 are caught in Reaper's March although

Bal Foyen
In Bal Foyen you can catch the Bleakrock one in the ocean fishing holes. (blue rare fish that also unlock the Bleakrock achievement.

@hammer_fella counts as Stonefalls for fishing, I believe the same is true of all the starter zones after the islands (to relevant first zone).

They are. Just bad luck in getting them. Took me a week vigorously fishing (probably wasted 1600 cast) before I got my first blue. Just RNG not working for you.

EDIT: Fishing in Coldharbour. The greens are Reaper's March fish.

Yep, got the 4 blues after catching 7 greens not on any list. About 200 crawlers and an hour or so in Coldharbor to do it.

Last fish I need for Master Fisher achievement are in Malabal Tor. Got 3 rivers, 3 oceans, and 2 lakes so far. Can't find any damn foul waters.

This achievement took a metric button of time. That color better be spectacularly ugly.

Last issue with fishing.. (I seriously regret ever starting this achievement, but at 214/216 caught, I'm not about to quit).

I have 2 fish left to catch. One foul water fish in Greenshade, and one in Grahtwood.

The foul water nodes are not respawning.

Read it where? I'm getting into the fishing now that it has worthwhile achievements (hideous pink dye) but the google hasn't lead me to a good guide.

There are a number of fishing sites that report this issue with Stros M'Kai. As a result I used not 1 worm, and got my achievement with only a few chub casts.
There are links to these sites in many forum fishing posts, keep looking.

An easier way to both identify what fish to catch in each zone, as well as track progress, is to get the addon RARE FISH TRACKER from ESOUI. It's simple and works great.

BTW, @Umfafa_Umfafason, if you're still looking for Dominion missing fish, just keep at it. I got my Dominion fishing achievement yesterday. All the fish are there, just need RNG on your side .

Nope, I got em all. May need to update the thread a bit thought I got all of the areas. I'll take a look again...and I'm so happy I can just dump baits into the guild bank for others to take. Pretty sure I never wanna fish again.

I have spent HUNDREDS of worms just to get the stupid Magrove shark in Grahtwood. Has anyone caught it? Seems like I am pissing in the wind here.

I got all fish (even the green ones from Coldharbour that doesn't register). Plenty of times I'm stuck on a fish for many many casts, sometimes after 1000-2000 casts, i finally get the fish I'm looking for.

It takes dedication, time and patience. Yes, RNG can really punish you to the point of giving up. If that's the case, take a break, come back in a day or two and start again.

Took me many months to get these fish, but being a Master Angler, I'd say I had the one of the most fun (albeit annoying at times) getting this accomplishment in this game.
