Well, you could argue that the price is too high...or you could just stop using your gold to buy things from venders(Like armor and weapons) and save your money for this, or create a new character...this isn't Warcraft and will never be like Warcraft

I've never bought a single piece of gear off a vendor or weapon etc. I've been surprisingly lucky to get a lot of drops.

I really just think the first respec should be free and pay after that - but I list other options because not everyone is going to agree so I wanted to try to offer some other options people could post opinions on that didn't break the game and still made us pay gold. We *should* have to earn it but we should also be allowed to try to learn the game a bit when we're new.

Once you hit level 35 - 40 there isn't really any need to respec your skill points. I'm sitting on 10 skill points and don't really have anything to spend them on. Maybe if I wanted to try a new damage tree like bow or something, but everything else that I use (including crafting) is maxed for my level.

    Just play a bit more

This! This is amazing information, thank you for this. I feel this is likely where most of our concerns are coming from - worried about what our levels will be like later on.

Did you spend points in crafting? I'm curious to see how things will pan out for those of us who want to go all in on crafting plus 2 weapon skills and other random fun things.

I don't mind the cost of 100g per point, I mind that I have to respec 150 points if I only want to change 1 damn morph that I really dislike. It is a big design flaw.

And yes, I am VR3 (nearly 4) and I don't have a lot of money, I loot as much as possible and try my luck with everything I walk across, but in all those levels I made, I found exactly 3 epic items (not counting the fighters guild reward) and 0 motifs to sell...

Given we can't see what the the ability upgrades are until they're available, and that sometimes their descriptions aren't exactly specific; if someone upgraded an ability into the wrong branch, or just wanted to pick the alternative, it would be a pretty good reason to respec.

Like others have suggested, I think it would be nice to be able to respec individual skillpoints (perhaps for a slightly higher rate), or for the price not to be extravagant the first time around.

I'd disagree about this, but the way skill lines are set up, you can't actually see how your skills will be upgraded until you do it. Its so stupid. Is there a game manual or official wiki I don't know about?

Until they provide more info about each skill and how it morphs, respec cost should go down.

I think people would not want to respec as much if we could see morphs and abilities ahead of time. I know that would have helped me a lot.

You're the second person in this thread to mention that and I think it's important to point out to the developers that this would help polish the game a lot and help lower frustrations for those wanting to learn and try new spells when we don't know what they do/will do.

    Great suggestions imo B)
