    Except it's not clear whether having an existing ticket is enough, or whether we need to submit a new ticket. All I want is some clarity around that, and then I'm good.

    I just received the following answer from CS:
    Thank you for contacting the Elder Scrolls Online Support Team.
    We are sorry that you fell under this predicament.

    Thank you for understanding the situation. The issue is being dealt with, and as you have said there are several thousand of players in the same situation as yourself. For now we have worked out the bank slot lost situation although it is not advised to buy new bank slots yet until it id definitive over with. The restoration of the items will be done as soon as possible in an upcoming patch.

    Sounds like we have to wait a bit longer for a patch that returns the already lost stuff.

    No, that looks like the inventory upgrades. Bank slot upgrades cost
    70 = 1000g
    80 = 2200g
    (I don't remember the rest)

    Ah well seems from posts so far it back to the ticket trail to get rest sorted think i will wait at least couple of days to make some gold and check that its really fixed before i upgrade bank ..i wil expect to be repaid the cost of the 40 slot upgrade i lost as well as return of other gold missing and items

    Indeed, 1,000g for the 1st upgrade to 70 is not a big risk. I'll be testing it this afternoon.

    Well fingers crossed this patch fixes the bank slots for NA. I am sick of having 30 free slots (in bag/bank combined) across 8 characters. Support said in response to my ticket it would be fixed in the patch on Tuesday, then after that said it is being looked into. I have been patient.

    But, running back to town to empty bags every 30 minutes and logging in and out of 8 characters all the time is getting a bit old now.

    Just reply to your existing ticket or submit a new one! Their account central database I believe is very good so anytime they look up your account all the info will be there.

    Unless their DB structure allowed for an easy script to automatically restore all of the slots & items, there's no way that could happen. Wanting things to be fixed is fine. Having grossly unrealistic expectations about how long such fixes take (especially when it seems that they have to do this manually) is counter-productive.

    I lost Bank Space and Money ticketed, I do not expect to get any back.
    As I was researching it showed that they know about this problems for months, it appeared first in Beta long before Launch, and here we are having the same problem again.
    If that problem doesn't reappears after this patch then it would be fine, but I have doubts.
    I have tried for 3 days to play on default bank size and it reduces the playtime to a pain. So I upped my Bank again, because I have no faith for now.

    I found this (never delete important emails ^^), and I saw it the end of the e-mail. I think about someting database where I can see all of my tickets in a chart.

    I searching in my account a system like that u mentioned. That was unsuccessfully, so I put my question here ^^ I think it will be a friendly community :)
    Maybe the next week they give us back the bank stores or the cost of it. I1m really patient, but it is really hard to play with a basic bank with 60 store. I don't know where to put my runes and some crafting materials. I can not play with my lvl11 mage cause she got more than 30 rune in her inventory, so she is an extended bank now XD

    Well, if you do all proffesions using pure craft characters, then 60 slot bank make it unplayable. That is reason why I lost 100 slots 3 times over and over. I bought 110 slots now after patch again despite their warning. This bug is their fault, not mine, so it is their fault job now to solve it, despite I upgrades my bank again. My time is more valuable than potential loss of gold for upgrades,
    Base math I did:
    With 60 bank slots (and 120 bag slots on main character) it cost me usually over 1 hour to sort material from my adventuring (when main character bag is full) with multiple relogs to Alts and stuff transfers.
    With 100 bank slots the same process cost me 20 minutes per one "full bag" adventure. Every day I must play with basic 60slot bank I lost about 3 times 40min so about 2 hours just sorting my bank instead of enjoy questing and exploring world of Tamriel. And I first got that bug during early acces 1.4., playing daily, so my "time loss" would be 18*2 = 36 game hours just sorting stuff cos of bug...

    I think like many of you I am sure that we are being given the right royal runaround on this issue now,,, IF the patch has stopped the issue occurring that's great...

    I want an explanation on this thread from one of the CS reps as to why I have to resubmit another ticket to now get the gold taken from my bank in excess of 70000 and at least the refund of the cost to upgrade my bank by 40 slots yet alone whatever items went with the bank slots. The start of this thread was all about please add your ticket numbers here etc.. so now you want another one.. surely my original ones haven't been resolved and you should still be working on them as you knew the patch wouldn't help any of us who had submitted tickets over the bank hack you incorporated into the game ( makes me gasp in wonderment that this time the game owners themselves instigated the account hacking of its customers and understandably wished not to return anything)

    I am guessing that basically they hope most of us will just give up and leave the game or stop hassling them. After all even if we don't subscribe they have the money we paid for our Imperial editions in the sweaty little palms anyway and are laughing at us.

    I believe they do their best to solve this problem. Else if they don't resolve this problem well, and don't give us back the bank stores, or the cost of it, the Gamer Community will raise. So in the future we never bought another Bethesda/Zenimax software.

    When you known the bank problem, why upgraded it again? You need to know you could lost your upgrades and gold again. It was an illogical action.

    I don't want explanation for this problem, they need to know this not me. I'm the customer, and I want them to fix the problem as soon as possible, and notify me from this.

    You both have valid points. Good customer service would be proactive. But that's not what we are dealing with here. Squeaky wheel gets the grease is ZOS’s current policy; so squeak loudly and often.

    Well considering this was a know bug in BETA along with the guild bank thing that was exploited it should have been fixed b4 release end of story.

    What where they hoping the magical code genie would come along and fix these bugs. OH I know they forgot to rub the magic lamp and get three wishes

    Investigation before the patch went in is fine, but as the bug hit lots of us multiple times, any investigation prior to the fix is inherently flawed, and would need to be re-done. In any case, even if they did investigate prior to the fix, when everything has to be done manually there's still no way that everyone would have slots, items, and gold returned to them as soon as the patch goes in, your unrealistic expectations notwithstanding. It's obvious you don't work in an IT-related field...
