Missing Bank Items, Bank Slots, & Skill Points

    Nothing in today's patch notes about this issue. Mrs. Folsom response leads me to believe:
    • The fix will be be ready some time in the future. "As soon as the fix is ready, we will push it out to the live megaservers."
    • It will restore nothing to those affected. "It will not be retroactive."
    So we have to wait and see what, "Know that we want to make this right for all impacted" means.

    This is a lie. They have certainly not "tracked down the missing items and gold," that is just exploiting the metaphor. There are no actual "oak bows of precise scamming" or any actual "gold" for them to locate.

    It would mean that the 3 employees in ZOS customer service pulled database backups for the thousands or tens of thousands of customers whose bank slots and gold were wiped and they are ready to add those back once the "fix" is implemented. That is just a lie.

    If they "make it right" it will be a blanket mail with gold to those who submitted tickets or something similar.

    Looks like all the items were moved to inventory but all the bank slots are missing. I just bought the 10k upgrade and now its back to 60.

    I'm having the same problem missing 3 bank upgrades ..fortunately I found the missing items on an alt but not having the extra 30 bank slots has forced me to spend a lot of time logging and reclogging alts to use as mules
    Ive sent 2 reports but so far have no e-mail response just gonna check in game

    I lost my bank upgrades (from 80 back down to 60) but think that the 20 items lost must have been put back into my inventory (can't say for sure and frankly, don't care). I am not sure whether I lost skill points and will look after maintenance is complete. My ticket number is 140413-142560.

    Im curious, I know that the NA and EU servers, have had different issues/bugs in the patch, ie one type of bug on NA, but not on the EU, is the EU server affected by this issue too?

    Experienced this issue this morning before the server went down for maintenance, though I'm suspecting it happened late Sunday and I just did not notice, if it is related to receiving duplicate Explorer Pack and Imperial Edition items. I received a second set in the mail Sunday night, while trying to figure out why my friends list had been wiped, and I couldn't whisper any of them.

    I submitted a bug report for it this morning. My bank was reset to 60, the 2k gold I had stored there is gone, and I'm not sure if there are items missing, as I only store crafting mats in there, and at a glance nothing seemed amiss. I only noticed that the bank had been reset after I re-purchased the first upgrade, and then thought 'wait, why was that so cheap?' The character I noticed this glitch on has also had her bag space reduced back to starting size.

    Hopefully they'll have this fixed soon...until then, I guess I'm going to create a character to act as a bank...

    I see no mention at all of any bank related item in the patch notes. So I am either blind or this is getting ignored.

    Another one of my friends just lost their bank items.....please fix it soon.

    I don't understand why wasn't this addressed in today's patch. This is a game breaking data loss issue. I reported it exactly one week ago today, others much longer ago. When I first reported it, I was brushed off with responses that said it has already been 'fixed'. Then more and more people started reporting it. Still no general warning out to people that they may lose items in excess of 60 in their banks.

    I'm in the same boat guys, I'm having the same problem missing 2 bank upgrades and missing lots of items, this problem affected me last night. This is a major blow for everyone, this is unacceptable and I can't stand this. I've been thinking to cancel my sub if they don't fix this issue asap.

    The caller also welcomed me to call them back so we can resolve the issue with my skill points. He did not give me a call back number...

    At some point today, I will call the number on the Caller ID. To be perfectly candid, I have my doubts that this will be resolved in an amicable manner.

    Very sad to see that the bank slot/items missing issue isn't being fixed in today's patch. My wife and I canceled our subscriptions over the weekend because of this bug and I was so hoping that a future patch meant today.

    I'll log in when the server comes back up just to make sure it wasn't fixed, but at this point I think I'm going to stop watching the forums and just give up on ESO all together.

    Many people feel the same way..but don't give up hope it will be fixed soon. Look at the email I received on the other page.

    *Update: It appears all the "extra" items were shunted off to an alt's bags. So at this point the only issue I have are the 2 missing bank expansions.

    Figured I'd note this here since there is no way to update the actual ticket...

    I'm with you on this. ESO intentionally made bank space tough to come by and having it taken away is infuriating. The problem is not going to be solved any time soon it seems. This is a deal breaker for me. I'm not going to pay $15/month without the ability to contact a live customer service representative that can resolve such issues.

    I also went down from 100 to 60k, but as far as I can tell, I didn't lose any items. I think because I had room on an alt that I had just moved some stuff to, and I had just created a 3rd toon a few days before that. I never keep gold in the bank cause I never have enough worth saving (buy slots/backpack as soon as able) but I still need those slots back.

    ticket opened just now because I figured it would be a global fix, not on an individual basis.

    I'm going to log in tonight to see if things were fixed for me. If they haven't been I'll be unsubbing. It's a shame because this game seems fun to play. Maybe check back in 6 months when more bugs have been fixed.

    I don't know if my case was marked as "resolved" but I got a c-sat survey and never a response in over 48hrs. I made a thread for this but I'll just repost the details here.

    Beginning:
    So I was on character A and deposited stuff in bank. Switched to character B and received mail, it was a second explorer's pack and monkey, which I didn't take just in case. Checked bank, everything wiped, didn't add or move anything just in case. Went back to character A and everything was back in bank, but mail was still there. Again back to B and everything was back there too, but the mail was still there.

    Update1:
    Correction, stuff is back in bank, but upgrade and everything in those 30 extra slots is gone

    If a mod decides to look into this, the logged reference is 140413-142487. I don't expect it because there are others with much more serious issues, but there it is.

    additional note** just found the items back on the char who deposited them

    Current Situation:
    Some others have noted this as well, but it seems when this happens, the game "thinks" this is a new account, hence the empty bank, resend of explorer's pack, and having to go through coldharbour again on your next new character, also explains why when I switched to another char and checked the bank, everything was back, since there would likely be residual data of what that character had in the bank database vs the reset character.

    Since it's been so long, I took the additional explorer's pack stuff, rebought 2 out of the 3 bank upgrades I had, created a new character, deleted said char, and recreated it. I deleted the maps from the additional explorer's pack but retained the pet plus the additional beta monkey pet.

    Seeing as how I didn't actually lose items in my case, and gained vanity pets for another char, all I really hope for out of this is to be reimbursed the 10,000+gold it cost for the three upgrade. Honestly as long as I get to keep the vanity pets I'm willing to call it even on the 10k (given an assumed price of what vanity pets would be worth if they were a sellable item)
    And so did many brave men, women, and beast fall to the end of Beta, never to be heard from again. All that is left, is whispers of the adventures they had.

    My bank is at 90 slots at this moment again so

    Questions:
    1. Can I sell tickets to "My Pet ZOO"? for Zenimax employees to compensate my loss?

    2. Can I start to breed + sell new young pets, when I have at least 3 adults each type now?

    3. I Am asking for +2 additional fingers on my character cos now I can marry 3 wifes with 3 Rings Of Mara available but has no fingers available to satisfy all 3 of them ;-)
