11 Quests away from Bangkorai Quest Achievement, What am i missing?

There is definitely a bug. I am with the EP and this is my vet 5 zone. I have done all the quests I came across and was sitting on 38/53. I decided to head through the 6 public dungeon/delve things and after doing the first 1 and completing its quest I checked my achievement and it still said 38/53. Therefore I have completed a quest and gotten no recognition of it in the achievement. Is it possible this has happened to some of you as well? We may have done more than the achievement is actually saying, because I know for a fact it isn't registering at least 1 of my completed quests because I checked it before and after. I'm not at the point most of you are, I haven't fully done all the delve thingys or rode my horse around every inch, I just wanted to post this to let you all know my achievement isn't registering all my completed quests.

EDIT: For anyone wondering that quest in particular was from Torog's Sprite (just north west of Evermore) and when I looked at the quest in my journal it was under its own tab with the delve's name instead of the Bangkorai tab like other quests should be. I think this might be why it didn't contribute to the achievement. So unless you've checked that every quest you've completed in this zone was under the correct tab, its possible there's more than 1 quest that was like that and therefore it will not show up in the achievement as having been completed.

On a side note, I never thought of screencapping this so if anyone has yet to do that delve, a screencap may come in handy I guess to show that not all quests in this zone are contributing to the achievement.

EDIT #2: After bringing this to customer supports notice, this is the email I received back:

Thanks for your patience in regards to the Torog`s Sprite not counting towards to the Bangkoari quests achievement.

After looking into this achievement in question, I found that you should be able to complete this achievement once you have the required number of quests. I can assure you that all quests that count towards to the achievement are accounted for and if the number does not increase, this is likely due to it not being one of the quests that are in the list to earn the achievement. I have also checked the quests you have completed and I can confirm that the number of you mention is matching your completed quests.

I can only suggest that you keep on completing quests within Bangkorai in order to complete the achievement and be sure to check all locations for them as the quests can be given in the remotest of places. If you need any further assistance with this or any other issues, please do not hesitate to contact us again and we will do our best to look into the issue for you.

So apparently not every quest you do in this zone will count towards the achievement and they are aware of this. I am now stuck on 42/53 (I refuse to do the group dungeon as I hate them and am saving them until vet rank 10) so I know for sure there's one in there. 1 of the public dungeons/delves doesn't have a quest, though I was counting on it. I actually have ridden my horse everywhere and cannot find anymore quests. Guess this zone will remain uncompleted for me.

There is one easy to miss quest inside Sunken Road called Publish or Perish
Also group dungeon Blackhear Haven should have a Jumping Ship quest, it is listed under Bangkorai, but I am not sure if it counts towards the achievement as I was unable find a group to finish it yet. I'm at 46/53 now and it would make 47 if this quest would count.

I'm 99.99% sure this cannot be done... as I've scoured the land and haven't found any more than anyone else here. I've also scoured the web and completed every quest listed everywhere

For those of you who have gone past 44/53, 3 quests count for the "Messages across Tamriel" breadcrumb path that leads you to Vanus from Bangkorai as quests. (according to dulfy)

If you are not a vet and have gone past 44 quests, this explains the discrepancy. I am 43/53 and I have not done the dungeon quest.

I'm missing around 10, and have done all of the ones I've found, cleared all the dungeons except for the instanced group dungeon, and gotten the explorer and skyshard achievements.

I did find a dungeon that seemed not to have an associated quest with it. (Viridian Watch?) That seems a bug; there's usually at least one quest that starts inside each solo dungeon. There may be other quests that just aren't showing up.

I'm at 44 too because Pariah's Abbey won't count even though I did them. I submitted a ticket and it's a bug they're working on.

47/53. Please if someone has reached a better number inform us. My opinion is that because of the buggy quests, some were lost and ZO will have to fix it. Actually I've never met someone who finished Bangkorai.

I read somewhere that when Craglorn goes in they are fixing a lot of the achievements which will be applied retroactively, so hopefully this is one of those.

I'm also at 43/53. Normally, I would think this to be operator error but with so many things bugged in this game it would be nice to get some official confirmation that 53 is the correct number so people don't continue wasting hours of time in a fruitless search for quests that don't exist.

edit: I did find two more so I'm at 45/53 now but I can't find anything else. Has *anyone* completed this?

Well now, that's a lot more enlightening than some of the other tickets I've seen posted around. If it had been a typo in the achievement itself, it would have been fixed ages ago, so the fact that the problem might actually be something this significant makes a lot more sense.

Definitely an unfortunate turn of events, though, and with Craglorn's patch somewhere on the horizon, I'm not going to hold out hope for this all to be fixed by the time 1.1 goes live. All we can do is wish the team luck for figuring this out.

I asked about this and was told that they are fixing it in an upcoming patch, so I'm sure it won't take too long to see it rectified.

There is however, one problem. My friend gave me an add on called Zygor. It is supposed to find quests and act as a walk through. I activated it in Bangkorai and it was working decent (does not direct to skyshard, dungeons or lore books), it brought me to a quest named Dark Wings. There was no quest giver. I cannot find this particular quest at all. Turned it off right after cause I plan to do everything I can find and use it to check those missing. I'm very thorough at doing quests so yeah. Will confirm after I try my best. Currently out station and the internet in this hotel sucks major ***.
