The bosses should be working or at least available on a launch weekend in my opinion.

I really like the game, but I will not hesitate to return this game as soon as it hits my hot little hands if they don't at least address this. I guess I wouldn't be so bothered if they had just came on and said "Hey guys....we realize we screwed up, but we can't do anything about it. Sorry"......but they haven't. It's been radio silence.

Add me to the unhappy list of those that pre-ordered from Amazon and still haven't received the game. I've also been kicked out and blocked until I can enter the code that is in the box, which is supposed to be delivered Monday, but then again, I was notified last week that it would be delivered on Friday. So truthfully I have have no freaking idea when it will arrive.

Let's hope Zenimax decides to extend access to us soon, as in Monday morning (it's extremely unlikely that anything will happen tonight on Sunday).

This is truly an unacceptable way to treat those of us who pre-ordered the most expensive version of the game, let alone were the first to support the game, assisted during Beta, pre-ordered knowing how buggy it was no less. Granted, this may affect us for only one or two days, (Stendaar willing) but we paid $100 to play the game, not be locked out with nothing to do but vent our frustration on the forums.

Come on Zenimax! This it petty bull#### and you know it. Here's an idea for your next game... give pre-orders 10 ***#### days to enter the code and take it off the first 30 days. It's no skin off your nose and you won't be As# ***#### your fans for supporting your business but are at the whims of retailers, traffic, weather, and/or the post office.

I feel a little like I was duped as Zenimax HAD to know there were going to be shipping issues. All they had to do was extend early access to avoid bad feelings. My guess is their accounts wouldn't hear of it... "We can't have people playing for free for more than 1.5 days during their free 30 days. What if they play for a week and decide to cancel? We'll lose $16!"

ARRGGGHHHH! Rant over, but by the Divines I still don't feel very appreciated.

This is what they respond back to me with....

    Greetings Alex,

We recommend that players immediately reach out to their retailer for assistance.

Unfortunately, as the game was not purchased through ZeniMax Online Studios directly there is no direct action that can we can take. However, we are implementing a grace period to extend play time from early access through March 6th in order to help anyone who ends up in this situation.

If the retailer is not able to resolve the issue players may consider cancelling their order and placing a new order with another merchant who can ensure launch day delivery.

In addition, the game is available for digital download from https://account.elderscrollsonline.com/store.

Thank you for your continued interest and support!

    Warm Regards,
    The Elder Scrolls Online Team

Ya, they really need to give us physical CE buyers a bit of a break here. I've seen the "grace period" go as long as an extra week and a half on LARGE MMO launches just like this one. This is so sad. I'm glad I ordered two day shipping but my game still isn't here. I have to wait until tomorrow. Thank God I have tomorrow off and I worked today, otherwise this forum would likely have made me very upset.

That must be the guys at Zenimax while they read our posts and laugh....

Or Blizzard after Zenimax chased away customers...XD

Ive already Boycotted Blizzard for stupid marketing ploys. I hate to have to do it to Bethesda over this too, but its looking like it might need to be that way.
This is ZOS, not Bethesda. Just sayin.

it is ZoS, who are the main financial backers of Bethesda, So any Bethesda game bought, the money goes into their pockets first and foremost. if the dev teams from Bethesda move on to a new company away from ZoS then ill buy from them.

Not that I am defending them but you do realize that they had no control on when the games were shipped to you only when they were shipped to the retailers which happened a while ago. So if it is taking a while for you to receive your copy then that is a fault of your retailer not Zenimax. And just so no one thinks its different with the digital. Some received their codes sooner others later depending on were they purchased the game because most retailers had the codes much sooner than the games impending release but were to wait until a agreed upon time and day to send them to their costumers. So again if you had trouble getting your purchase start looking toward the guy you purchased it from which in this case is more than likely not zenimax the developer.

    Sigh....another fanboi,

Yes, it is ZOS's fault. Retailers have been dropping the ball on releases, we know this. Guess what? MMO companies have mostly prepared for this by extending grace periods. EA gave swtor a total of 10 days to have your code entered. The 10 days counted towards your first free 30 days.

Its sad when EA, a company thats known for nickle and diming its customers, handled this better than ZOS is.

While your entitled to your opinion, your first remark makes you look like a fanboy of 12 years old. "sigh..another fanboi" (who says boi these days lol)

Bethesda, you should have had one code to give people access for their copy. There is no point to piecing out each freakin part to what they purchased. I don't know whether this is gamestop having the issue or Bethesda or both but your handling of administrative items is of much lower quality than your game production. Also given that you knew there was a problem there was no reason to not extend the grace period. Get a clue.

Gamestop customer service also informed me (when I called, hoping I could get my hands on the emailed code without waiting the promised two full business days/ until Monday) that there is a "delay" on getting those email codes, and they have NO IDEA when they will be emailing them. How can they not have those codes??
This is all part of the game.

This. Amazon screwed the pooch on MY order (withheld my apartment number), and I have to wait until noon TOMORROW to go get it. Now I can't log back in. And UPS had me drive to that office yesterday, only to find out their rep. has no idea when their offices ACTUALLY close. I'm losing it.

EDIT: Yes, you read correctly, I need to WAIT to go RETRIEVE MY parcel from a PARCEL DELIVERY SERVICE.
