I hate it too, way too long winded. They need to just have her say hi and that's it. But besides the long speech she has a voice of an old woman but looks like an 18 year old. Her voice does not match her youthfulness.

While I agree that this is bad design and has to be fixed eventually, have you guys heard of mental blocks? I don't even hear what they say any more... But then, I have a lifelong practice of ignoring what people say IRL too...

Luckily I have a little button on my keyboard that toggles sound on and off easily. Could be worse - might be product placement for stuff like PPI refunds, fizzy drinks and pay day loans.

Aaaaaand she has been shut up. Don't know if it happened when 1.1.2 hit, or with the hotfix thereafter. But all she's saying now is a tame:
