bank reset to level 1 (*update - resolved April 18/19)

    Oh good, I'm not the only one with this issue. The excess items over 60 went into the bags of the character viewing it when it reset, anything that was over that character's limit however vanished. I got duplicate explorer's pack stuff too. Luckily I only at 80 slots with 2 upgrades and lost around 3,000g that was in the bank. I'm not storing gold in there again, I learned my lesson.

    Had this happen to me too. Submitted a ticket but heard absolutely nothing so far.

    Didn't lose any items, but went from 80 to 60 slots.

    I haven't created any new characters, so unsure if I am unable to skip Coldharbour tutorial. I'll try tonight.

    My lesson has been to not register my game after early access. :(

    And the latest patch notes don´t mention this major bug at all.
    Feels juust great to have bought a game that you cannot play. :|

    Not that I got my Explorer's pack as submitting this in early 3 day access at first day - seen forum as this should be fixed after release of game - said ok, no big-y. Then as well yesterday's problem with subscription - 36h passed and no answer... found a partial solution after half a day without access to game myself and now this. Well thank you!

    We will assume your issue has been resolved if we do not hear from you within 120 hours. What was the first thing you sad about passion? You need to wait 5 days to see if the problem goes away bye itself - probably the costumer left while not resolved situation - oh, so me(costumer) am the problem apparently.

    Let me shear some good practice on server maintenance as well. You don't make announcement 5 minutes before servers will be taken down for maintenance. This can happen only if Servers fail/crash.
    A good master makes schedule ahead and notifies his users day ahead via in-game chat - every view hours or at least 24h/12h/6h/1h notice periods and news board at login. Where did all good costumer appreciation practices go!

    Happened to me too.. from 90 spaces to 60 in the blink of an eye. I'll have to check to see if my items were dumped to other characters.. but that wont help, I need the stuff in my bank and now don't have the space. Did get an auto reply from CS but that's all it was.. an auto replay

    Yep, me too.

    The next character I logged in got the excess bank items...but he only had 3 inventory spaces free. The other items appear to be permanently gone. Tried re-upgrading the bank and upgrading the character that got 3 of the overflow items, but they remain gone.

    I submitted a ticket Saturday night, and got a response early Sunday morning that ZOS/Bethsoft is still investigating. My guess is that we'll have to wait for the next patch for this to be fixed.

    Going on a week and 2 patches since this happened to me. I filed 3 tickets in game and one on their website. Have not received a single reply.

    I got a very prompt email reply stating that it is a known issue under investigation and asking for the exact time it happened and items involved.

    Still unresolved, but at least a human took the time to reply.

    Same thing happened to me with the lost of Bank upgrades, Gold and items.

    Can we reupgrade the bank slots, or will that be lost when they reinstate back the previous lost bank slot?

    I tried reupgrading (just one) to see if it restored any lost items, but no luck.

    I wouldn't bother re-upgrading until it's fixed even if it wouldn't mess things up. You'll just be putting yourself at risk of losing even more stuff.

    That was what I thought. Now inventory management has turned from a mini game to an even bigger game. All my stuff with no place to put. Even my mule has his own mule. :'(

    Similar - I got a human reply in 13 minutes that they're investigating this (Ticket was put in at ~midnight eastern)

    Thankfully the character I was switching too didn't have full bags - so when I swapped to him the 20 items from the bank were easily accommodated. Not particularly happy though that I lost the 2 upgrades.

    What an...odd...bug. FWIW, I got the 4 Imperial Edition mails after the bank reset.

    Happened to me upon logging in. As I had done some bank and bag clean out before logging out yesterday, I don't believe I lost anything. I didn't even notice the bank space was missing at first - just the extra explorer's pack. I sent in feedback about it and only noticed right before getting off tonight when I went to do my usual crafting/banking and noticed it was all gone.

    I sent in a ticket about it. I'm not risking upgrading the bank again until I have my bank slots back.

    Got the dupe emails and went to the bank as I'd finally gotten the 11k for the next upgrade only to find this had happened to me.

    I logged out and back in (since that seems to solve every other bug in this game) and found the bank still at its original(un-upgraded) size but filled with 58 of the items I had lost. Submitted a bug report, and just in case, I'm not touching my bank, nor maybe even the game until this is fixed.

    Lost 90 stacks crafting materials and research items.

    You are in for a long time without playing if you are going to wait for it to be fixed.

    Same thing happened to me on Saturday. So far, except some generic "we are looking into it" replies, nothing has been done to address this.

    Lost everything as well, 40 bank slots, gold, epic/legendary crafting mats. Cannot imagine this launch being any worse at the moment.

    Perhaps that's a harsh sentiment, but considering everything I lost; I'm not refarming all those materials to forge the new medium set for my main. I might be able to play my Templar or DK for the time being. The problem, is what happens when my inventory is full of supplies I've no intention of getting rid of?

    Maybe if we're lucky it will be like the "you randomly log in to some other person's account" bug from last week where it gradually gets more and more common.

    I've had all of the above problems, missing loot, missing upgrades, extra bonuses, the whole nine yards.

    This morning I had an email from support asking me to identify the transaction from my last payment. That would be the PayPal transaction id from my pre-order Feb 1.

    I noticed items lost and bank was reset on Sunday(6th), contacted support and figured there would be no response on a weekend. Now it's Tuesday and still no response, no resolution.

    It's become a game of Inventory Management, as I'm reluctant to store anything in the bank until ZOS have prioritised and fixed this issue.

    Everyone affected must post on these forums, it's the only way ZOS will give it attention. Their Customer Service have proven themselves to be outsourced and inadequate in less than a week after launch.

    This happened to me just before receive the duplicate bonus and after upgrading to 90 slots.

    That's right.... I think it might be connected to entering codes for me, too... I think the first time it happened after I entered my code for the first 30 days... The second time after I entered the code for the Explorer's pack... If I recall correctly, that is...

    Can anyone confirm this theory?
