Distance Markers on Compass (toggle off please)

Please please please give us a toggle for the super obnoxious distance tracker on the compass that was silently added with this patch, especially since having the "keen eye" passive makes them show up for every single node. I don't need to know there is a Namira's Rot 20 meters away or that the Hooded Figure is 1.5km away. I cannot find where we can toggle this feature off - if I'm being dumb and just don't know where it is, please tell me!

Agreed - it adds a Lot of visual clutter to the screen and it's not fun to look at.

I find the numbers more distracting than helpful. I only have a vague sense of how far "[#]m" is to begin with, and I found my attention drawn to watching the numbers change instead of looking around at the actual environs as I traveled.

So yes, a toggle for this feature would be good.

if there is a setting for it, it would be in interface settings like the other Compass settings

Nodes do not appear on the compass.

Perhaps what you're seeing is the result of an addon?

Ah rats it is, thanks for catching that! I swear I barely updated any add-ons for PTS so I didn't think any add-ons could interact with this new "feature".

An overall toggle would still be nice for disabling the base game distance trackers. Keen Eye is only an issue on my main/crafter, but the trackers are obnoxious even on my alts.

This just adds too much visual clutter, and the worst is being in a city, why do i need to know that the maps city marker is 38m from my current position? im in the city, why is it showing the distance to the city marker?
