I was in a dungeon in the alik'r area when this happened. Before this happened, everyone in the area was booted multiple times but we just came back on. After the next boot, we finally got locked out of our account. I can log in into the website just fine and even changed my password twice.

After going thru the forums today, i realised that many people are getting this error message. But i already have a subscription active and recurring. Its been nearly 3 days now and i still have no news from customer support or any rep around here. Very disappointed.

I had a similar situation last week.

What the problem was:

Hey there,

I sincerely apologize for the issue you have run into. I looked into your account and I believe the issue should now be resolved. It appears that a few things you said in zone chat were flagged by our system and a suspension was issued. After reviewing your chat logs, it appears the only thing you mentioned about gold selling/farming was that you were frustrated with them, which is completely understandable.

Since nothing in the chat logs indicate that you are a gold seller, the suspension has been lifted and you should be able to log in without any issues. I sincerely apologize for the time it has taken to resolve this issue. I have submitted this ticket as feedback to ensure that this does not happen again. While we work on the gold spammer filter, I would suggest avoiding the mentioning of gold spamming/selling in zone chat.

Again, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, and if there's anything else I can assist you with,. Please let me know.

Same thing I was sent an email in which i responded to. But yea i got banned from the beta but what does beta have to do with this, if i bought the the game.....

Just to update, support contacted me and apparently said i was suspended for 72 hours for killing a public boss over and over again. They should have at least mailed me a notice regarding the cause. Either way it sucks.

And to make matters worst, now that my account is restored, my character is now locked. I cant log in. This has been an utter waste of time

Same problem here. I don't zone chat, I don't farm bosses, I haven't got any email saying I was suspended, my sub was setup days ago and the transaction successfully debited against my account. I quit the game an hour ago after playing happily before.

Came back, went to log in and got an account information incorrect error. Tried to log into my account, got a weird re-direct:
"{"is_valid_user":false,"redirect_to":"/login"}", tried again then got a "You have been suspended from this site" error.

I changed my password to see if that would give me access, but exactly the same issues are occurring.

My wife is playing happily without any issues. I've raised a support request.

Same problem here, and I also haven't done any of these things like farming bosses or just any of that.
.....and I was so eager to continue playing for my character after my work

Do they state someplace that you are not allowed to farm bosses? How about some warning if you are going to ban people for doing something or at least tell them what they are and are not allowed to do.

Just fix it so you only get the loot of the boss when you don't have the badge for killing it instead of banning players for playing the game the way you made it.

@kitsinni I think they just covered it by saying your not allowed to exploit in the game. Apparently farming bosses based on their own flawed respawn system is an exploit. Wouldn't it be more like smarter use of game mechanics?

Out of curiosity, how many times did you kill the boss repeatedly?

If you're higher level and farming a public area boss repeatedly keeping others from enjoying the game due to your behavior that would violate the code of conduct.

Might I suggest you not farm that boss for an extended period of time due to it ruining other players fun to have a high level play constantly kill a boss another player needs that is at or near level. If you want to farm the boss for items/materials only kill him a couple times then come back later and do it again rinse and repeat. That way you do not infringe on other players enjoyment of the game.

Section 8 of the COC does in NO WAY state you are not allowed to kill mobs X amount of times so the Lady from support is wrong have look yourself

You're right it is but it is common practice to not farm boss mobs in community areas that are having heavy traffic at the time so you do not infringe on numerous players enjoyment of the game.
