Gutting PvP? Then We Need a Vengeance PvE Mode... It would only be fair, right?

    God nothing can make PvPers happy anymore. You have people complaining about BGs and a lack of a pvp update, we got it and still complaining. There has been complaining about low population, and then the next complain about a week long test to fix performance to get more people in pvp.

    Every step to make things right it is always the same. People are unhappy because they want change but get upset when there is change.

    You say that like it's some massive "gotcha" against PvE players enjoying the Vengeance Campaign.

    I'm a PvE main, and I'll just say, sure! Let us see some templatized PvE!

    Look, endgame PvE is already specific classes in specific roles in specific gear; everything is already min-maxed. Removing the illusion of choice in stats, gear, and CP makes zero difference in how we run PvE content; we will still aim to find the best combination of classes, roles, and strategies for the content that we will still do.

    Player made nightmare vs dev mandated dystopia.
    I don't want either.

    Every "diverse build" i keep hearing about is broken down into about 5 or 6 meta builds.

    You have
    1. Immortal magsorcs
    2. 1 shot nb stealther
    3. Proc autopilot pressure build
    4. Immortal healbot
    5. Immortal block tank

    They all use the same 10 sets. Normal pvp is basically templated already.

    You are so wrong i dont even know where to begin. You didnt even list a single set. Its just insane how we can view this game so differently. But like all i do is pvp and have for like 8 years. This is the type of excuse making and misinformation that runs so rampant though these guilds, and zone chat, in eso. And one of the reasons why i get so many whispers calling me a cheater, but have personally never run into a cheater in all my time in eso.

    Pve is exactly the same. You have a few sets that sit at the top that most people use. Super sweaty people use different stuff, and you probably dont even know what half of it is. But like relequen, pillar of nirn, a small amount of sets that most people use for like dps for example.

    Or better yet how about the fact that almost everyone is on arc. Its so common i do random dungeons and the entire group is arc. And if not all 4 then you know 3 will be.

    So im sorry but you are off base on this. People who put in more effort will almost always do better and thats how it should be. If i take my game knowledge to build correctly and and play better and pay attention to the little things, why isnt that a good thing? If you dont like ball groups either ignore them and go somewhere else, or get into a ball group and outplay them.

    If you dont want to chase a solo around a tower simply dont do it. If you dont want to get bombed dont pile up on doors and breaches. Like its as simple as ignoring someone or playing something to counter them. The same way that even though a tank may be very annoying to me, while im outnumbered, i ignore them. But unfortunately most players never learn these things.

    The linked thread is nearly a year old now, and some of the people posting are probably still having issues today. Note: I'm not one of them, only lag I have is due to satellite being my only available connection.

    That issue has been fixed with Update 45. Most of the issues were due to addons using a type of data sharing, that can't be used anymore because of the latest API.
    Another issue of lag that people will have is from the addon Harvest Map. I could go into Cyro with all my addons being used and have crazy lag/frame issues during Vengeance, I turn off Harvest Map it had zero issues with every other addon running. For me, figuring that out was one of the best things to come out of the Vengeance test.
