ESO+ tel var gain bonus doesn't seem to be working after today's update?

Since this was introduced until after today's maintenance I would get 220 tel var out of the satchel awarded by IC dailies.

I just opened one and I got 200 tel var instead.

Does this mean that the bonus is not working or that it no longer applies to all sources of tel var?

Haven't seen anything on the patch notes.

EDIT: I have checked if ESO+ is active on the account and it is.

Thank you for creating this thread!

But I was going to create a thread about this stealthy change on General section to give more attention to this, because - sadly - I don't think it's a bug :/ When I got 200 Tel Var from a daily quest box, I was scared that something is bugged after this update - but the description of ESO+ benefits status on character screen now says:

"10% increased Tel Var stones (monster kills only)"

I don't know why it was not mentioned in Patch Notes. While not game breaking, this change is still a little nerf to ESO+ benefits :'(

I hope we can get this reverted <3

Looks like this patch was focused on petty and mean spirited changes:

This undocumented one is Exhibit A

    Exhibit B would be:

If something as trivial and 'low hanging fruit' as lockpicks warrants a 'rebalance' and takes precedence over much more glaring issues It just reinforces the notion that requiring 400+ maps to get a lead (or other system behaviours that might come across as draconian, ruthless or mean spirited) are not bugs, they are deliberate design choices.

Quote from the U44 Patch notes:
ESO Plus members will now receive a 10% increase to earning Alliance Points (Currency, PvP Skill Lines, and Alliance rank only) and Tel Var Stones (monster kills only).

It said monsters only there already, so they just fixed it in the last update.

Really glad that they fixed this bug and forgot to mention it in the patch notes then.

Either way thanks for the info.

It is very sad, but thank you for the info :'(
I never paid attention to the ESO+ benefits description in Update 44... I just thought that 10% bonus is for all Tel Var sources (except for fixed percentage on player defeat) :(

I still wish that this little bonus would apply to containers.

As for Tanlorin's perk, I didn't complete her quest because I don't like the color change on text from Treasure Chests... I didn't even know that her perk reduces lockpick break chance! :o Now I am sad about this too.
It's not like lockpicks are very precious, but having them more durable is really reducing player's annoyance during picking a lock :)

Players only have a set amount of tel var. being able to gain a 10% increase from player kills allows for easy duplication exploiting, however, the extra 10% from boxes should still apply unless this incremental they changed it. Double check your character's bags, not just the loot notification that pops up. I haven't looked since the pc incremental, but post update 45 I was atill getting 220 out of boxes.

EDIT: also, it could be a vengeance-related bug. Send in an in game report anyway. The more reports they get, the fastwr they can correct things. Complaining on the forums is not as direct and could not be gettibg to the right place.

Grand Master crafter, all styles and all furnishing plans known pre U41.
Vamp and WW bites available for players.
Shoot me an in-game mail if you need anything, happy to help!

I was in PvE zone and had two saved containers in inventory on character who has 0 Tel Var otherwise; I opened 1 container after the monday's patch (got 200 Tel Var and that's when I was scared), and opened 1 yesterday (also got 200 Tel Var). I deposited those Tel Var in bank, so the number was precisely that - not just UI error :'(

Thank you for making in-game bug report! I personally find that talking about things on forums leads to fixes at least sometimes :)
I reported many different bugs over years from in-game menu, and the most prominent ones (those which I can easy check) were never fixed :'( Only after creating forum threads, some of bugs were fixed eventually.

I still send reports about existing bugs in-game sometimes, but mostly to feel like I've contributed to the good cause.

stuff like that isn't trivial. you get companion abilities permanently applied to your character once you earn the companion's favor and tanlorin's passive is wildly OP in comparsion to the other ones, not only +5% force lock chance but also picklocks rarely ever broke? the rebalance was needed since you can abuse it in dungeon spam and would otherwise never need to loot/buy lockpicks again.
