Spirit Armor Buff, what is it ? and how do i make it go away?

    Would like this buff gone...it's actually pretty distracting. I do not care about 5% armor :)

    the main bugs will get addressed. things like this tend to get overlooked and the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

    GMs and customer support do not deal with bugs, programmers do. GMs and customer support have different tasks, helping players is one of them.

    I contacted support with a follow up and asked for my case to be elevated to a GM who can fix the problem, and they did. It was done in under a minute once I was contacted by a GM, so I believe they have a manual fix figured out. So ask them, and be polite! :)

    ya unfortunately their support mail system anti spam is blocking my chance to set up a time to meet with the GM. hopefully it is resolved today since im off work.

    Sad crap like this thread get more attention than real issues within the game.

    Something that prevents your character from stealthing properly isnt trivial for pvpers.
    As a soloing NB i find this bug very annoying.

    Wait, so those colored motes still show up even when you're stealthing? I suspected that but could not confirm it. If so, then it is a major bug for any PvPer.

    Lots of people here complaining about something nearly nonrelevant to the gameplay, while there are still major issues to be adressed (long loading times, stability of the client, memory leaks which blow up the client from 1,3 to 2,9 GB in RAM, broken Abilities etc.

    Subscription cancelled due to the following facts:

    - Zenimax implements more bugs from patch to patch
    - Zenimax does not care about the increasing instability of the game. People have more and more crashes Fix of memory bug decreased number of crashes considerably
    - Zenimax has still not fully fixed the fps drops they (!) implemented with patch1.2.3
    - Zenimax does nothing to fix the massive ability lags in PvP
    - Zenimax gives more attention to unnecassary 'content' like dyes for armors than fixing issues
    - In patchnotes Zenimax lies about bugs allegedly fixed
    - Zenimax has no plan as to how balance population in Cyrodiil campaigns
    - Support is ineffective and does not even speak in a way one can linguistically understand

    Same problem here, I got it from Wilderking and it won't go away. I can't look at this rainbow stuff flying around my character anymore, *please* fix this or let players right click buffs to remove them.

    im on Day 3 of a GM promising to assist me in removing this effect. they keep failing to meet up with me at the appointed time. i guess Support feels they are the only ones with priorities and jobs and that is ok to waste our time...

    So it is possible to have support remove this buff? Yeah yeah, tons of other important things to take care of or whatever, but I would still like this to be removed.

    Lots of people are complaining about people complaining while programers are busy fixing bugs.

    Bug? How could be this awesome effect be a bug? The visuals are great and it also gives you armor boost!
    I really hope it's some kind of (permanent) reward for questing.

    I love it, had it in PTS, and made sure to beeline for the quest the second I got to Marbruk in Greenshade. My husband even asked me the other night "When do I get sparkly armor?"

    My hope is that they are able to implement a fix for the folks who don't like it, and leave the ones of us who do alone. I'd hate to lose it because some folks don't like it, especially knowing it's working as intended.

    Yes my character is also a vampire, no I don't like Twilight, I HATE the bow in Guild Wars 2 called "The Dreamer" (shoots rainbow unicorns and your character leaves rainbow hoofprints trailing behind) but I LIKE the swirly colorful light effects and LOVE the armor boost from Spirit Armor. However, the Kalliope Armor leaf swirl effects were irritating (after a while, it more closely resembles flies swirling around a dung heap, if you get my drift.) I don't play in 1st person, so no irritation from that.

    I finally noticed some peeps with that effect and yes it would drive me bonkers after 10 mins tops. :s

    Why are some people calling this a bug, I asked for the Wilderkings assistance and a powerful spirit gave me a useful boon that lasts on my character, I see nothing wrong with this, especially if other factions get their own equivalent and If not they can do AD as their veteran content and get it for themselves eventually, it's not like you need it to level it's just helpful. As for PvP 5% armor won't do crap for you anyway by the way people rip through each other in Cyrodil. As for the graphic, I hardly notice it on my bulky Nord.

    To be honest some people are just pathetic. There are much much much much bigger problems to deal with at the moment than this BUFFED armour bug. You're all bitching and moaning like it is hindering your gaming experience or makes you uber weak, just stfu bitching already and leave it, forget about it, it will be fixed eventually.

    My god people will find anything to moan about, **** off back to skyrim will you, multiplayer games are not for you.

    Thanks to Johnathan at support for following up on my Ticket and finally bringing resolve toward this issue. also want to thank GM Strawberry for applying the actual fix.

    i hope down the line they patch this ability so players have the option of keeping it or removing it on their own.

    Indeed. Many thanks to CS rep Sean and GM Halarion for removing "Spirit Armour" from my character this weekend. It took two weeks to get someone to actually address the issue, instead of just sending me the same rehashed list of hopeless suggestions over and over, but they were both extremely polite, accommodating and professional with me. I was impressed. The whole operation took just a couple of minutes in game. Sooo nice to have that swirling crap off me now.

    I too hope the devs have taken notice of this and will give us the option to cancel any and all long term effects that end up on our characters in the near future. I suspect a lot of us that were/are ticked off by this are more from the traditional ES camp, where we are used to having total control over our characters' appearance.

    As someone stated a few pages back, nobody complains about a 5% armour buff, but the accompanying kaleidoscope of crayola feathers matters quite a bit to quite a lot of us. Is it the most important bug in the game? Certainly not. But is it a constant one? Yup!

    I like this buff and I like the spell effect. I think cool buffs like this are awesome, and I hope they do more of them! I wanted to post so that any devs reading this know that not all players feel like some of the dramatic posters above : P

    Cool buffs, right... well, after very swift responses from the GM team I finally got Spirit Armor removed and I won't miss these annoying lights. To everyone who still has the buff and does not enjoy it, send those help requests. And don't mind that they'll suggest things like /stuck to you, just keep at it, eventually they will send you a GM that -can- remove the buff.

    @Stravokov @ramasurinenpreub18_ESO how did you guys manage to get it removed? I contacted the support but all I got was an email telling me to die (by typing /stuck) which of course didn't help since the effect is permanent and not temporary and dying doesn't remove it. I replied to them explaining this, but never got an answer after that. :( It's driving me crazy.

    you got to keep at it. send in another ticket with your old ticket number so they can referance it. it took me 11 days before i was able to get an actual GM in game to remove it.
