Suggestion: Disable all Customized Actions

Since the release of the Coldharbour Recall we can't be anywhere in the game with the sound turned on without being constantly bombarded with the deceptive sound effect of the anchors. For just 8000 Crowns, many players can now demotivate everyone who liked the much more discreet recalls, as they were before.I understand that those who use it are probably enjoying the game being noisier and with out-of-context sounds, but it would be fair to give the same chance of fun to all other players who preferred a more moderate gaming environment. At least, I'm willing to pay up to 8000 Crowns to disable all customized recall effects and sounds from everywhere in the game in my account.

Please make this happen. It will be perfect for everyone. Give us an option in Crown or elsewhere to reset all customized recall actions to default on an account. I think customized mining actions are already working like this, because I've never been forced yet to see other players' customized mining actions, and that's great!

That could indeed save the game from the path it is taking and would give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the game in the most appealing way for each person. Lately I've been playing a lot with the sound turned off to avoid the disturbance caused by the exaggeration of decontextualized noise that comes to us from unnecessary effects mainly sold on the Crown Store. However, it's not fun either, because in order to turn off the noise from other players I have to mute all the sound effects, including those of my character. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Yes. I get that some like the flashier things but others do not. An effects toggle on the client side would certainly go a long way to fixing the issue for everyone.

I think customized mining actions are already working like this, because I've never been forced yet to see other players' customized mining actions, and that's great!

For long time, I used to think that either nobody uses customized harvesting actions, or other players don't see them. Then I finally saw other player using green hawk to gather flower

I saw some other actions few more times.

I don't know for sure about mining actions. So, if it's not confirmed, most likely just nobody uses this Meteor mining action (or you just haven't seen it)

It is loud and introduces strong camera shake - I can understand that it might be unpopular. I love it though, so on PC EU, I would be up to be observed for the test when I use this action, so that we all can know for sure if other players can see it.

I don’t think I should have to pay 8k crowns to turn off customized actions. It’s just nuts they are there to be seen by anyone other than the person using them. This stuff should all be executed client side so only the person using it can see it.

This recent poll shows that a large majority feel things have gotten too loud and flashy. It would be a great quality of life feature to be able to toggle these off.

I absolutely agree with you. All customized actions should be seen and heard only by the user who owns it, and we shouldn't need to pay to get it fixed. But I also understand that this is a business, and the reason the game is being destroyed for us is because some players are paying for that stuff. So, I believe that in order for us to get the game clean of the flashy and customized stuff we'll also need to pay something to motivate the developers.

At least I wouldn't hesitate to pay the full price of a Deluxe Upgrade just to get rid of all flashy things and customized actions from my account. I think the base game and its original items absolutely gorgeous for a MMO, and all the noisy Apex stuff is slowly making me lose the desire to play. But I know it's a personal problem of mine because I look for the game to relax.

...which is why I'm willing to pay for that to be improved and maintained.

The issue with Coldharbour Recall noise popping everywhere all the time seems to be getting worse.

Please give us a solution that is good for everyone. This is a multiplayer game, don't put elements that serve some players to ruin the game for other players. I understand that the Coldharbour Recall noise may be fun for those who use it, but it's not for anyone else. No one needs to be constantly bothered by that noise, especially in cities where we're organizing inventory and taking care of other things where it makes sense to have some peace of mind. The customized recalling action sounds should be heard only by the player who uses it and no one else. There's absolutely no reason to force it on all players.

I think this should be fixed in a patch without extra payments because it's something that is definitely destroying the game for no logic reason. Anyway, as I said before, if motivation is needed to fix this problem, I remind that I'm willing to pay up to 8000 Crowns to disable all custom recall effects and sounds from everywhere in the game in my account. Maybe that could be a great gift for the next 25 Crate bundle. I would buy it immediately and I never bought any pack before.
