I just don't group in PvP and I usually wont run into this Major Broken game mechanic. Think it started for me about three weeks ago...and has pretty much ruined the PvP that I enjoyed for the first week of the game. I try after every patch and spending 30 min plus in loading screens...I wish I could get compensated for the many hours I spent in loading screens before I realized the problem.

But the Devs only seem to be concerned with PvE issues and adding new content...bad enough we can't make money or level here, but to not be able to group either is just a new low for an MMO trying to satisfy certain entitled players while ignoring basic issues of a huge part of the community.

Any word on when this specialized team will be able to finish this major problem?

I think I responded with A Go F Yourself for not answering in a whole week and just giving me silly answers before admitting there was a problem, you must have mistook that with the issue being solved I can jog your memory if you care to respond to my last message though...and you never told me a specialized team was working on it before that, you suggested I not use Way Shrines and I expected nothing other than another silly answer after waiting a week!

I love how ZoS lets all the Non-Customer Service threads flourish in here as long as they are in Zeni positive image. OMG...A Fanboys Wishlist shouldn't be part of the Forum where people are actually trying to get help for the game...just to mention one of the many that have nothing to due with game issues that customer support is supposed to be for.

But create the wrong critical thread and will be shut down asap...even though innocent people are locked out of the game all the time

What a *** shame, seriously.. I tried to join an hour ago : stuck on loading screens. Five times. I finally got in, got killed, couldn't res, couldn't do anything. This is so stupid. I tried to log back, my corpse was in Auridon and I had to wait 8 *** minutes because the server considered I was still in Cyrodiil, so I had to wait for the timer to end.. Now I am trying again and again to join a raid I usually play with, I just can't because of these stupid loading screens. I am so fed up right now. I can't believe this is happenning a month after release. 15$ a sub for so many bugs ? Yeah alright.

Wanted to do an hour of PvP before going to bed but the loading screen just wouldn't let me in tonight. Will try again tommorow I guess.

I did this, and deleted the saved variables file, and I have no problems anymore.

But after you group again the grouping bug sets again...so what is the fix for that?
Just don't expect to group in PvP without game breaking issues?
Been on going since early release...and from what I hear eight months or so in beta!

I was lucky and had it fully explained to me from someone in closed beta...and they have explained it better than all the useless Support Shills ever will, that is how I avoid hours of load screens in Cyrodiil and not from any single silly response from Zenimax Support

Well they told me and explained Grouping Bug...I choose not to group because Cyrodiil functions way better that way, even though there are many other bugs
No way it performs Perfect or even Good...just better for a while at best!

Alas they are focusing on Greedy Players Loot atm so we will just have to wait until they consider us first class paying customers and decide to focus on BASIC game mechanics for half of the game community

I have not done Cyrodiil outside of Beta because I can't get into it. I have waited as long as 45 minutes letting it try to load, but it does nothing. I have tried the LUA file change and the fix with Windows Firewall, but neither have made a difference. Have there been any updates with this for those of us that can't get into Cyrodiil?

Just try running solo once the bugs subside...they can last hours if you even once tried to join a single group in PvP....and these bugs carry over to PvE once you try to get them fixed!

I've given up on PvP for now. Its just so hit and miss. Will I get in this time? Will it just give me a loading screen and leave me to kill the task? The suspense is boring.

FIX THIS. PLEASE. PvP used to be enjoyable - but I have given up on even attempting to do any serious PvP since it is so hard to get past that stupid loading screen. Nothing to tell you what is going on - no way to quit after sitting there for 20 mins without ALT-F4.

Thank you for looking into this issue, Gina.

I am still getting this problem, and am using the Lore Books addon and the Sky Shards addon.

However, I have only been using them for 1-2 weeks, and I am nearly positive that I was experiencing this issue prior to installing them. But that being said, it DID seem that the rate at which the stuck loading screens were happening for me did drastically increase in the last couple weeks as well.

Coincidence? Related? I don't know.

Edit: I'd also like to add that I saw deleting the file ZO_Ingame.lua from the ESO user folder as a possible workaround listed earlier in this thread, but I haven't yet had a chance to try that to see if it would have any effect for me.

I run without any Addons. I hang all the time going into PVP/Cyrodiil - about a 70% chance of getting stuck (forever) at loading screen. Very very rarely happens in PVE.

That said I haven't tried with patch 1.0.7 yet. Will give it a few days and report back.

One thing I've noticed - I can even recreate hanging by just changing graphics options and applying (which causes UI to reload). Boom, loading screen hang.

Thanks for your interest in the 100th thread on this subject, good to see you are paying attention...

Mostly this bug happens during prime time for cyrodiil. never had it happen for PvE, and never happens during day time hours for cyrodiil. I have tried disabling my addons, but I still get the problem. I have tried the lua deletion and firewall change, still get the problem.

Seriously annoying bug that needs fixing immediately.

When I get stuck on loading screen, I alt-tab and terminate eso.exe and enter the game again without any add-ons enabled and STILL get stuck in the loading screen. With or without add-ons, it makes no difference whatsoever. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

I do use Addons, wykd's suite, Skyshards and Lore Books.

I have uninstalled all addon's on an occasion to see if it would make a difference to logging in, it didn't still the same issue.

I have also tried the Letting ESO through the firewall, which seemed to work for the first few days, but that no longer works.

It doesn't seem to be due to Prime time either as I've had this issue in the early hours of the morning whilst there is hardly anyone online.

I have found that this happens more often if you are in a group. But still happens when you first try to log in.

on another note the issue when in a group and you crash offline seems to be worse if the person joining the group is not in Cyrodil

Hi @ZOS_GinaBruno - just tried this with no Addons. Hung at loading screen for 10 minutes. EU megaserver spawning into Cyrodiil.

Thinking of cancelling my subscription as I just can't believe a product has shipped like this, and nobody seems to understand how to fix this issue. It's a month since the game shipped and a core element doesn't work reliably. Mind boggling.

As far as i know everyone is randomly getting this problem and also with a ~ chance of 70% every time im in a organized raid group i hear massive people having this bug. They crashing and then try to get back in cyrodiil for an half hour or even more because of being stuck in loading screen. I observed that this bug occurs more often when the campaign is full of users. Then less user are in the campaign the less often the bug occurs

There's also still performance problems in Cyrodiil (on EU megaserver at least). The minute I spawned it, it took 12 seconds to mount my horse, and zone chat was all this (attached). After a few minutes it cleared up. Events from client were queuing up to megaserver.
