Why? Why have costumes where there are parts that can not be dyed?
I love this daily login reward outfit but like.. I dye all parts but where you see the white , can't be dyed at all, making it more difficult just to find a way around it to make it look nice
I agree, especially in this case where the parts that cannot be dyed are a bright white. I wanted darker colors and came up with something I am ok with, but if I could make these a light grey instead of the stark white it would look so much better.
I agree that costumes should have all parts included in dye channels, and it would be even better to have more than 3 dye channels. I don't like when some parts don't match anything and ruin the look
In case of this particular costume, I only wanted it for two of my vampires, and it works well within my favorite color mix
But I know how bad those permanently red and white parts of it can look in other color themes...
Great Question. There are many issues like this one as well as similar issues with the staves sitting too high when sheaved and the bow quiver floating over the character's back. All kind of problems like this that have been discussed many times before in past threads. Not only was none of it fixed, but it also seems with this style, (as well as other newer styles) they continue making these same mistakes again, again and again. 10 years, 2024 now, same issues continuing to be replicated instead of being resolved (or otherwise being addressed by some form of work-around).

It bothers me a lot every time they give us a style/motif or costume with noticeable parts that are not dyeable.
This is another one, which is extra annoying on a costume that is actually nice looking and unisex.
Like either make it all one colour, or have it part of the dye slots that dyes smaller details.
When playing around with it I decided to just make it monotone in white, and discovered when you don't see the boots, it can look kinda modern with the right look.
Yup, I really wish they would add 2 more dye channels or at least assign all parts to one of the existing 3. There are tons of costumes that have fringe or fur that cannot be dyed so you end up with the drab grey white blobs that clash with any bright color schemes.
